Royal Priesthood Sergio Osmeña SAVED BY GRACE NOT BY GOOD WORKS
Efeso 2:8-9: [8] Kay pinaagi sa pagtuo naluwas kamo tungod sa grasya sa Dios.

Christ’s death on the cross is a truth that can never be overemphasized and should always be remembered. What He endured on the cross is a powerful demonstration of God’s immeasurable love for us. He willingly bore our suffering and took upon Himself what we could never carry, so that through Him, we could receive salvation.

This is the depth and greatness of God’s love—a love so powerful that He gave His only Son for our salvation. ❤️✝️

And what does He ask of us? To believe, to have faith, and to trust in the finished work of Christ on the cross. Our salvation is not something we earn through our own efforts; it is a gift of God received through faith.

The work is finished. The price has been paid. The way to salvation has been opened through Christ. 🙏

True abundance is not measured by how much wealth we possess or how many things we have in this world. True abundance is found in having Christ in our lives.

When Christ is at the center, we experience a different kind of richness—a Kingdom life filled with love, peace, joy, and righteousness. These are treasures that the world cannot give and material wealth cannot replace.

May we never measure the fullness of life by what we own, but by the presence of Christ within us. For in Christ, we have everything we truly need. 🙏✨

What God desires for our lives is that we become His image and likeness. This can only happen when a person is filled with the Spirit of God, for God is Spirit. When the Spirit of God dwells in us, His character is reflected through our lives. In this way, the invisible God becomes visible through the way we live. People will recognize His presence in us, and they will be able to say, "This person has God," because of the love, humility, kindness, and godly character they see in that person's life.

Family, we may face great and overwhelming storms in life, but let us always remember that no storm is greater than our God. Every trial may test our faith, yet it is not meant to break us. Instead, God uses every storm to shape our character, strengthen our faith, and prepare us to overcome the challenges ahead. Trust in Him, for the One who calms the storm is always with us.

Isaiah 41:10
Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.

The very foundation of our growing family is the grace of God. It is not by human effort or ability, but by His grace alone. The message of the cross brings salvation, not condemnation. It brings light to those who once walked in darkness, hope and life to the hopeless, and above all, it reveals God's unconditional love to those who have felt unloved by the world.

Because of the finished work of Jesus Christ, lives are being transformed, hearts are being restored, and people are being drawn into His growing family.

All things happen for a reason.

Nothing happens by accident in God's perfect plan. At the appointed time, God led us to the true message of Jesus Christ. He may use situations in order for us to hear the gospel—His death on the cross, through which He gave us salvation, the life of His Kingdom, and His unconditional love. Through His finished work, we have received forgiveness, hope, and the assurance of eternal life.

How blessed we are to have received this wonderful message—a treasure far more precious than diamonds or gold. No earthly wealth can ever compare to the priceless gift of knowing Jesus Christ and the salvation He freely offers through His sacrifice on the cross.

What are the things that please God?

The Bible clearly teaches that without faith it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6).

This is why Jesus rejoiced when He met the woman who had been suffering from bleeding for twelve years. Because of her faith, she reached out to Him, and Jesus said, "Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace." Her faith pleased God.

The same is true for us today. God is pleased when we place our faith in what Jesus Christ accomplished through His death on the cross. By trusting in His finished work, we receive the forgiveness of our sins and the gift of salvation. Through this, we are able to fulfill God's purpose for our lives—to reflect His image, live according to His will, and be used as His vessels here on earth.

Family, let us not harden our hearts when the true message of the Gospel is being preached. Our lives are not our own—they belong to God. So what is the purpose of our lives if we are not willing to be used by the One who created us?

Does every part of our body matter? Absolutely.

Imagine if one part of your body stopped functioning. Your whole body would be affected because every part has a unique purpose.

The same is true in the Body of Christ. God has given each of us different gifts, callings, and responsibilities. No believer is insignificant. Whether our role is seen or unseen, every member is valuable and necessary for the Body to function according to God's purpose.

As it is written:

"Si Cristo sama sa usa ka lawas nga may daghang bahin. Bisan kon nagkalainlain ang mga bahin niini, usa ra gihapon kini ka lawas."
— 1 Mga Taga-Corinto 12:12 (RCPV)

Let us never compare ourselves with others or think that our role is too small. When every part faithfully fulfills its purpose, the whole Body of Christ grows stronger, bringing glory to God and blessing to others.

We are many members, but we are one Body in Christ. ❤️

God is a Jealous God.

God's jealousy is not rooted in selfishness but in His perfect love for His children. He has already given us everything we truly need. Yet when our hearts begin to cling more to the things of this world than to Him, He lovingly calls us back.

Sometimes He allows difficult circumstances, brokenness, or seasons of hardship—not to destroy us, but to restore us. His desire is always to bring us back into a right relationship with Him because He knows that true peace, joy, and life are found only in His presence.

God's discipline is always motivated by love, and His purpose is always restoration.
