๐’๐€๐‚๐„๐‘๐ƒ๐Ž๐“๐€๐‹ ๐€๐๐๐ˆ๐•๐„๐‘๐’๐€๐‘๐˜

Today, August 8, our parish family joyfully celebrates the 10th Sacerdotal Anniversary of our beloved ๐๐š๐ซ๐ข๐ฌ๐ก ๐๐ซ๐ข๐ž๐ฌ๐ญ, ๐‘๐ž๐ฏ. ๐…๐ซ. ๐ƒ๐จ๐ง๐š๐ญ๐ฎ๐ฌ ๐”๐ญ๐ฌ๐ฎ ๐”๐ง๐๐ข๐ž, ๐‚๐’๐’๐ฉ, of Saint James the Apostle Parish, Padre Burgos. Although his actual anniversary was on August 6, we gather today as one community to honor this remarkable milestone in his priestly ministry.

The life of a missionary is never easy. As a foreign missionary serving in our humble town of Padre Burgos, Fr. Donatus has embraced his sacred vocation with unwavering faith, courage, and dedication despite the many challenges that come with serving far from his homeland.

Our parish is truly blessed to celebrate this special occasion with him. We pray that the Lord will continue to bless him with good health, steadfast faith, wisdom, and many more fruitful years in His service. May the Holy Spirit continually guide and strengthen him as he faithfully carries out God's mission with humility and love.

Fr. Donatus has always shown genuine compassion, kindness, and a servant's heart. His words and actions have inspired many, especially the youth of our parish. He leads with humility, respect, wisdom, and firm conviction, encouraging us to grow in our faith and become better followers of Christ.

Through his priesthood, we have learned that true greatness is not found in honor or recognition, but in selfless service. Fr. Donatus is a living example of a shepherd who serves God's people with love, sincerity, and compassion. He reminds us that a priest's greatest calling is to be a faithful messenger of God and an instrument of His mercy and love.

As we celebrate this 10th anniversary of his priesthood, we offer our heartfelt prayers for Fr. Donatus. May God continue to strengthen him, protect him, and bless him abundantly as he fulfills the mission entrusted to him. May the Lord grant him the grace to continue serving His people faithfully here in Padre Burgos and wherever God may call him in the future.

Their remarkable presentation beautifully showcased the spirit of unity, creativity, and love for tradition, embodying the essence of โ€œKAHIUSA: Pagsaulog sa Kabilin ug Kultura.โ€ Through music and dance, they brought to life the richness of our culture and the joy of celebrating our shared heritage.

With grateful hearts and joyful spirits, the San Agustin Youth Ministry proudly celebrates our successful participation in the Parish Youth Day 2026 of Saint James the Apostle Parish of Padre Burgos - Commission on Youth held on May 21โ€“22, 2026. โœจ

Guided by this yearโ€™s theme, โ€œJourney of Faith: Called, Formed, and Sent,โ€ we were reminded that every young person is called by God, formed through faith and service, and sent to become instruments of love and hope to others.
