THINGS THAT SHOULD NOT BE IN MINISTRY
Ministry is not perfect, but there are things that clearly should not be allowed—because they destroy the heart, purpose, and testimony of the work.

1. PRIDE

When your name becomes more important than the name of Jesus, the direction is already wrong.
“God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.”
— James 4:6 (KJV)

2. CONTROL AND MANIPULATION

Ministry is about guiding, not imprisoning people.
“Neither as being lords over God’s heritage, but being ensamples to the flock.”
— 1 Peter 5:3 (KJV)

3. UNTEACHABLE SPIRIT

If you refuse correction, you cannot be trusted.
“Whoso loveth instruction loveth knowledge: but he that hateth reproof is brutish.”
— Proverbs 12:1 (KJV)

4. HIDDEN SIN / DOUBLE LIFE

Private integrity matters more than public gifting.
“But if ye will not do so, behold, ye have sinned against the LORD: and be sure your sin will find you out.”
— Numbers 32:23 (KJV)

5. COMPETITION, JEALOUSY, AND COMPARISON

We are not rivals—we are partners in the Ministry
“For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.”
— James 3:16 (KJV)

6. SERVING FOR SPOTLIGHT, NOT SACRIFICE

Ministry is a calling, not clout.
“Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.”
— 1 Corinthians 10:31 (KJV)

7. LACK OF LOVE FOR PEOPLE

If you love ministry but not people, the heart is wrong.
“And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.”
— 1 Corinthians 13:2 (KJV)

8. NO ACCOUNTABILITY

Isolation is dangerous in leadership.
“Every purpose is established by counsel: and with good advice make war.”
— Proverbs 20:18 (KJV)

9. USING GOD’S WORK FOR PERSONAL GAIN

Calling is not a business.
“Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind.”
— 1 Peter 5:2 (KJV)

10. FORGETTING WHY YOU STARTED

When intimacy with God fades, ministry becomes performance.
“Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.”
— Revelation 2:4 (KJV)

REMEMBER:

God is more concerned with who you are becoming
than with what you are doing.

To God be the Glory 🙌🏼

Peace in the Morning – Finding Calm Before the Rush

Isaiah 26:3
“You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in You.”

Before the demands of the day begin, God invites you into His peace. Morning is a sacred pause—a moment to quiet your thoughts and realign your heart with Him. When you start the day in God’s presence, you carry His calm into every situation, even when life becomes busy or stressful.

Peace does not mean the absence of problems; it means the presence of God in the midst of them. As you trust Him with your plans, worries, and responsibilities, He replaces anxiety with assurance and rest.

Prayer:

Lord, thank You for the gift of this new morning. Quiet my heart, steady my thoughts, and fill me with Your peace. Help me carry Your calm into every moment today. In Jesus Christ Mighty Name, AMEN

May your day begin in stillness and unfold in peace 🙏❤

Morning Devotion

“Teach Us to Number Our Days”

📖 Verse:

“Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.”
— Psalm 90:12

Reflection:

Every morning is a gift from God. When the Psalmist prayed, “Teach us to number our days,” he was not asking to fear time, but to value it. Life is short, yet meaningful when placed in God’s hands. Numbering our days teaches us humility—we are dependent on God—and wisdom—to use our time for what truly matters: loving God, serving others, and walking in obedience.
Many people count years, achievements, and possessions, but God invites us to count our days with purpose. Each day is an opportunity to forgive, to grow, to repent, and to glorify Him. When we live with this awareness, we stop wasting time on bitterness and distractions and start investing our lives in eternal things.

Life Application:

Ask yourself this morning: How will I use today for God’s glory? Choose to spend your time wisely—in prayer, in faith, in love, and in doing good. Let today be lived intentionally, not accidentally.

Morning Prayer:

Lord, teach us to number our days. Help us to value every moment You give us. Grant us wisdom to live purposefully, to walk in Your will, and to use our time for what honors You. Guide our steps today. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

🌅 Declaration:

Today, I will live wisely, intentionally, and for God’s glory.
Blessed morning 🙏

Ephesians 5:20
"Always giving Thanks to GOD the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord JESUS CHRIST."

REFLECTION:
1. Do you show enough appreciation for the blessings you receive from the Lord?

2. Are you contented with the things you have now?

3. Or, do you sometimes feel "entitled" and think that you deserve more?

Gratitude is an attitude. You will not demand for privileges and benefits, but instead you will be grateful and contented with what the Lord has given me.

You will cultivate the habit of being thankful and grateful by "counting my blessings" instead of comparing, by keeping a positive perspective of increasing appreciation and lowering my expectations, and surrendering my rights, for you know that you are but a mere recipient of God's amazing grace.

"If you concentrate on what you have, you will always have more. But if you concentrate on what you don't have, you will never have enough." (Anonymous).
You will regularly count your blessings and be grateful for every good thing, both big and small things.

Rather than live a life of entitlement and discontentment, you will practice and maintain the attitude of GRATITUDE!

27/12/2025

The greater the waiting, the greater the blessing! Because God is developing you in the waiting season.
AMEN AND AMEN
