Your life is a beautiful reflection of Christ’s love serving with humility, guiding with wisdom, and loving your flock with a shepherd’s heart. Through your ministry, many have found hope, healing, and a deeper relationship with God.

Thank you for your unwavering dedication, your sacrifices, and your “yes” to God’s calling. Your priesthood is a blessing to our community, and we are truly grateful for your presence in our lives.

May the Lord continue to strengthen you, fill you with His grace, and grant you many more years of faithful service in His vineyard.

ALL SAINTS DAY | Archdiocese of Ozamis with The Altar Server Tribune

NOVEMBER 01 - All Saints’ Day, celebrated every November 1, is a joyful reminder that heaven is filled with people who once walked the same earth we do—people who loved, struggled, forgave, and believed deeply in God. It’s a feast that honors every saint, both those officially recognized by the Church and those whose holiness is known only to God. Their lives remind us that sainthood is not unreachable—it is found in faithfulness, compassion, and love lived out in everyday moments.

This special day invites us to reflect on our own journey toward holiness. The saints are not distant figures but companions who cheer us on from heaven, showing us that living for God brings true joy. As we celebrate All Saints’ Day, we thank God for their example and ask for the grace to walk the same path of courage, mercy, and faith until we, too, share in the light of heaven.
----------
Loving God,
we thank You for the countless saints who have gone before us—men and women who loved You with all their hearts and showed Your light to the world. As we celebrate their lives today, inspire us to live with the same faith, humility, and love. Help us to remember that we, too, are called to be saints in our own way. Strengthen our hearts to follow You each day, and lead us one day into the joy of Your heavenly kingdom. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
----------
All the Saints in heaven, PRAY FOR US!

FEAST DAY | The Altar Server Tribune

OCTOBER 21 - San Pedro Calungsod was a young Filipino catechist and missionary who gave his life for the faith in the 17th century. Born around 1654 in the Visayas region, he was trained in the faith by Jesuit missionaries and later joined them in their mission to the Mariana Islands. Pedro courageously shared the Gospel, taught catechism, and assisted in baptisms among the Chamorro people. Despite the danger of hostility from locals opposed to Christianity, his deep faith and youthful zeal inspired many converts.

On April 2, 1672, at just seventeen years old, Pedro Calungsod was martyred alongside the Jesuit priest Fr. Diego Luis de San Vitores after defending the faith and a recent baptism. His unwavering courage and forgiveness toward his persecutors made him a model of youthful holiness and missionary spirit. Canonized by Pope Benedict XVI on October 21, 2012, San Pedro Calungsod stands as the second Filipino saint and a patron of Filipino youth, catechists, and overseas workers.
-------------------
O San Pedro Calungsod, young migrant, student, catechist, missionary, faithful friend, and martyr, you inspire us by your fidelity in times of trial and adversity. We fervently ask for your intercession before the throne of God. May our faith be as strong as yours; may we love God with all our hearts and share His love to others with courage and joy. Obtain for us the grace to remain steadfast in our Christian duties and to live a life worthy of our calling. Through your prayers, may we also find strength to face life's challenges and to one day share in the glory of Heaven. Amen.

SAN PEDRO CALUNGSOD, I-APMO MO KAMI!
