PALM SUNDAY |

Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!” (John 12:13)

Today, we remember the triumphant entry of Jesus into Jerusalem. A moment filled with joy, praise, and expectation. The people welcomed Him like a king, waving palm branches and shouting “Hosanna!” Yet, this same moment also begins the journey toward the Cross.

Palm Sunday invites us to reflect deeply. Are we only praising God when it’s easy or are we willing to follow Him even when it’s difficult? It challenges us to remain constant, to stand firm in our faith, and to walk with Jesus not only in moments of celebration, but also in moments of sacrifice.

This is our time to grow deeper in your relationship with God. Let this Holy Week be more than just a tradition make it a personal encounter with Christ. Open your heart, offer your struggles, and allow Him to transform you.

As we begin this Holy Week, may we walk closely with Jesus from His entry into Jerusalem to His Passion, Death, and Resurrection.

Kini na ang higayon nga ipakita ang inyong grasya ug talento alang sa Ginoo! Maghiusa kita isip pagpasidungog sa balaang panagtagbo.

Mamahimong magbilin lang kamo ug mensahe diri sa panid sa website sa pag apil o pede ra kamo mo muadto sa opisina sa Parokya sa pagpalista.

Ash Wednesday | Lenten Season

Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the sacred season of Lent. A quiet, powerful invitation to return to what truly matters. Today, we receive ashes on our foreheads in the shape of a cross, a humble reminder of our humanity: “Remember that you are dust, and to dust you shall return.” Yet within those words is not despair, but hope.

This day calls us into reflection, repentance, and renewal. It is a moment to pause from the noise of the world and listen more closely to God’s voice. It is a time to let go of distractions, grudges, pride, and anything that distances us from love. Through prayer, fasting, and almsgiving, we begin a 40-day journey toward the promise of Easter. A journey not just of sacrifice, but of transformation.

As we step into Lent, may we walk with humility, courage, and faith. May this season soften our hearts, strengthen our spirits, and draw us closer to Christ. And may the ashes we wear today be more than a symbol. May they be a commitment to live with deeper purpose, gratitude, and love.

Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.
