A HISTORIC TRIUMPH OF FAITH: THE PONTIFICAL CORONATION OF NUESTRA SEĂ‘ORA DE LA IMMACULADA CONCEPCIĂ“N Y DEL TRIUNFO DE LA CRUZ DE MIGPANGI

From the ancient walls of the Cotta to the hearts of generations of the faithful, her maternal protection has remained an unshakeable anchor of faith.

With profound joy and thanksgiving, the Archdiocese of Ozamis announces a monumental milestone in our local church's history. By mandate of the Holy See, the venerable and miraculous image of Nuestra Señora de la Immaculada Concepción y del Triunfo de la Cruz de Migpangi (Birhen sa Cotta) will be elevated to the highest honor with a Pontifical Coronation.

This historic and grace-filled ritual will be solemnly led by His Excellency, Most Rev. Charles John Brown, D.D., Apostolic Nuncio to the Philippines, acting in the name and authority of the Holy Father.

Join us as we witness history unfold and crown our Queen, a perpetual testament to centuries of deep devotion, protection, and unyielding faith.

In the sacred embrace of the Birhen sa Cotta, we find the purest reflection of a mother’s heart endless, patient, and divine. Today, we offer our prayers and deepest gratitude to the Mother of us all, whose grace guides us through every trial.

To all our earthly mothers: you are the living hands of God’s love on earth. May your day be filled with the same warmth and light you so selflessly give to your children. We honor you, we thank you, and we love you.
