As moms, we often think serving God has to look big⊠loud⊠âout there.â
Like going on a mission trip. Preaching. Leading something huge. Doing something people can visibly applaud.
But then there are these quiet days at homeâŠ
When youâre wiping little hands after a messy meal.
When youâre calming tantrums while your own heart is tired.
When youâre answering âMom, look!â for the 100th time even when youâre already drained.
When youâre choosing patience instead of raising your voice.
When youâre loving your child⊠even when no one is watching.
And sometimes we donât realize itâbut that is ministry too.
In Nathan and Noah Vibes, I always feel this reminder deep in my heart: God is not only found in the âbig momentsâ of faith⊠He is present in the ordinary ones we often overlook.
Because truth is, serving God is not just about where you goâitâs about how you show up in your everyday life.
The way we speak to our kids.
The way we treat the people around us.
The way we respond when life feels overwhelming.
The grace we choose when weâre already running on empty.
Jesus said, âLet your light shine before othersâŠâ (Matthew 5:16)
And sometimes that light looks like a mom gently holding it together, choosing kindness when itâs hard, and still loving even in exhaustion.
So today, if you feel like what youâre doing is âjust ordinary,â remember this:
Nothing done in love for God is ever small.
Lord, I choose Your way. Accomplish Your will in me, whatever that takes.
And somehow⊠in the middle of the laundry, the noise, the chaos, and the quiet prayers whispered in betweenâit all becomes sacred.
Keep going, mama. God is working through your everyday. đ€
