As moms, we often think serving God has to look big
 loud
 “out there.”

Like going on a mission trip. Preaching. Leading something huge. Doing something people can visibly applaud.

But then there are these quiet days at home

When you’re wiping little hands after a messy meal.
When you’re calming tantrums while your own heart is tired.
When you’re answering “Mom, look!” for the 100th time even when you’re already drained.
When you’re choosing patience instead of raising your voice.
When you’re loving your child
even when no one is watching.

And sometimes we don’t realize it—but that is ministry too.

In Nathan and Noah Vibes, I always feel this reminder deep in my heart: God is not only found in the “big moments” of faith
He is present in the ordinary ones we often overlook.

Because truth is, serving God is not just about where you go—it’s about how you show up in your everyday life.

The way we speak to our kids.
The way we treat the people around us.
The way we respond when life feels overwhelming.
The grace we choose when we’re already running on empty.

Jesus said, “Let your light shine before others
” (Matthew 5:16)

And sometimes that light looks like a mom gently holding it together, choosing kindness when it’s hard, and still loving even in exhaustion.

So today, if you feel like what you’re doing is “just ordinary,” remember this:
Nothing done in love for God is ever small.

Lord, I choose Your way. Accomplish Your will in me, whatever that takes.

And somehow
in the middle of the laundry, the noise, the chaos, and the quiet prayers whispered in between—it all becomes sacred.

Keep going, mama. God is working through your everyday. đŸ€

Have you ever had one of those quiet moments as a mom

when the day is done, the kids are finally asleep, and you’re just sitting there thinking:

“Lord, am I doing enough?” đŸ„ș

We wake up every day doing a hundred little things—
preparing meals, cleaning up messes, working, budgeting, comforting little hearts, trying to be patient when we’re already tired

And yet, somehow, there are days when it still feels like we’re not “getting ahead.”

I was reading 1 Samuel 16:6–13 today, and it reminded me of something so grounding.

David wasn’t chosen because he looked impressive on the outside.
He was just tending sheep—doing quiet, unseen, everyday work.

But God saw him there.

And it made me think

Maybe motherhood feels like that sometimes.
Ordinary. Repetitive. Even invisible.

But what if those “small” daily moments with our kids are actually sacred?
What if God is shaping not just our children
but us too—right in the middle of the mess, the noise, and the laundry piles? 😅

We often think success is about moving up, achieving more, or finally “making it.”
But even in those moments, many of us still feel something missing.

Because real peace doesn’t come from keeping up with life

it comes from knowing we are walking in God’s purpose—even in the everyday. đŸ€

So to every tired mama reading this:
you are not behind. You are not invisible. You are not wasting your season.

You are being formed.
And so are your little ones.

Just like David, your “hidden season” might actually be your holy one.

“Lord, not my will, but Yours be done.” đŸ€

If they ask you to play

play.

Be the doctor.
The horse.
The customer.
The baby.
The student.
The villain who always loses.

Sit on the floor.
Answer the same question ten times.
Let them lead.
Let it be messy.
Let it be slow.

Because one day they won’t ask anymore.
One day they’ll want space instead of pretend.
Screens instead of you.

And you’ll miss the days
when all they needed
was your attention
and a few minutes of make believe.

Play while they’re still asking.
