Today's Lesson: The Parable of the Mustard Seed - Luke 13:18-21

God’s Kingdom is like a tiny seed and a little yeast. They both start small, but they grow and change everything around them. In the same way, small things we do for God like praying, obeying our parents/teachers, helping others, and sharing His love with other kids who do not know Him yet can grow into something big and beautiful. God is always working, even when we cannot see it yet.

Small Beginnings Certain Victories
(Parable of the Mustard Seed/Yeast)

❤️ Luke 13:18-21

👉 Jesus wants His listeners to rethink their assumptions about greatness. The Kingdom may begin small and hidden.

👉 Vocation in the Kingdom means there is no divide between “secular work” and “ministry” when our work is done for the glory of God. Engineers, doctors, nurses, mechanics, carpenters, housewives, pastors, and missionaries all participate in Kingdom work when they serve faithfully, worshipfully, and with a Christ-centered purpose.

👉 Vocation in the Kingdom—especially in proclaiming the gospel—requires faithful participation and intentional action. God calls His people to plant, serve, speak, and labor for His Kingdom. The question is: will you obey?

👉 The Kingdom grows because the KING reigns. Jesus Himself is the guarantee that the Kingdom will triumph.

APPLICATION:

🖐️Do not be discouraged.

🖐️Do not despise small beginnings.

🖐️The Kingdom often works invisibly before visibly.

🖐️ Faith requires commitment.
