Welcome Home, Fr. JP! ❤️🙏

"Welcome, Fr. JP: A Joyful Celebration of a New Shepherd"

With hearts full of joy and gratitude, we warmly welcome our newly ordained priest, Rev. Fr. Gérard Marcelino, fondly known to many of us as Fr. JP, to the Immaculate Conception Parish of Oton.

Fr. JP was among the five newly ordained priests by Most Rev Archbishop Midyphil Billones on June 15, 2026, a blessed milestone not only in his life but also in the life of our Church.

On June 17, 2026, Fr. JP graciously presided over his First Holy Mass at St. Padre Pio Chapel, Savannah. It was a grace-filled celebration that allowed our community to share in the joy of his newly begun priestly ministry.

Following the Mass, a simple dinner was prepared in his honor, bringing together his loving family, representatives from our various ministries, and guests who wished to celebrate this special occasion with him. The evening was filled with fellowship, thanksgiving, and prayers as we welcomed Fr. JP into this new chapter of service to God's people.

We are also pleased to share that Fr. JP has been assigned to the Parish in Cabatuan and officially began his ministry there on July 2, 2026. While we will certainly miss his presence in our community, we rejoice in this new mission entrusted to him and pray that he may be a faithful shepherd and instrument of God's love to the people he now serves.

Congratulations, Fr. JP! May your priesthood be filled with grace, joy, and abundant blessings as you serve God's people. We assure you of our prayers and support always. ✨🙏❤️

2nd Balik Eskwela & Feeding Program 2026 – San Jose Integrated School ❤️📚

"912 Smiles, One Full Heart" ♥️

Last June 15, 2026, representatives from the Apostolic Council and various ministries of St. Padre Pio Chapel-Savannah, continued our Balik Eskwela and Feeding Program at San Jose Integrated School in San Jose, San Miguel, our second recipient school for this year.

We arrived in time for the school's flag ceremony and were warmly welcomed by the students, teachers, and staff. Throughout the day, 912 students from Kinder to Grade 8 received school supplies and morning snacks in their respective classrooms.

We were overwhelmed by the sheer number of students and deeply impressed by how disciplined, respectful, and helpful they were. Their warm smiles, gratitude, and enthusiasm made every effort worthwhile.

As we visited each classroom, our hearts were filled with joy seeing the children receive their supplies and snacks with excitement and appreciation. More than the school supplies and food shared, it was the experience of connecting with these young learners that left a lasting impact on us.

We thank our generous benefactors, volunteers, and ministry members whose kindness made this outreach possible. May we continue to be instruments of God's love, bringing hope, encouragement, and opportunities to the children in our communities.

Our hearts were truly full that day. ♥️

Balik Eskwela & Feeding Program 2026 ❤️📚

"Bringing Hope, One Child at a Time."

The Calahunan Extension of Mandurriao Elementary School was the first recipient of our Balik Eskwela Program last June 8, 2026. A total of 245 pupils from Kinder to Grade 6 received school supplies distributed in their respective classrooms, while morning snacks were provided as part of our Feeding Program.

What we will remember most were the children's radiant smiles as they received their school supplies and their eagerness as they enjoyed their snacks. Their joy, excitement, and appreciation were priceless.

As we concluded our visit, the students expressed their gratitude with a warm and heartfelt "Thank You!" in unison—a simple yet touching gesture that made every effort worthwhile.

Moments like these remind us that even small acts of kindness can help inspire young minds and bring hope to our community. We thank all our benefactors, volunteers, and ministry members who made this outreach possible. Together, we continue to share God's love, one child at a time. ❤️

Let us joyfully offer our warmest prayers and heartfelt greetings as His Grace, the Most Reverend Midyphil B. Billones, D.D., Metropolitan Archbishop of Jaro, celebrates his birthday today!
May the Lord continue to bless him with strength, wisdom, zeal, and grace as he faithfully shepherds the flock entrusted to his care in the Local Church of Jaro. As we mark a milestone in our Archdiocese, may he lead us ever closer to the path of faithfulness and love for Christ.

In responding to the call of Quid Nunc as Kabahin, Kaupod kag Katuwang in our mission, may we walk together with Christ our King and Good Shepherd, guided by his pastoral heart and vision!

Ad multos annos, Archbishop Dodong!
