As we conclude the three-day Catechist Training, we thank God for the grace of learning, fellowship, and renewed commitment to serve.

A highlight of the final day was the demo teaching with our critics: Ma’am April for ages 4–6, Ma’am Aimee for ages 7–9, and Ma’am Lovelee for ages 10 & above, whose guidance inspired us to become better catechists.

The training ended with the Sent-Off Rites during the Holy Mass presided by Rev. Fr. Elmo Carry Montaño, sending us forth to share Christ with joy and dedication.

Youth Catechists’ Training 2026
“Formed by Mary, Sent to Teach”

Day 2 focused on the modules and lesson preparations for the upcoming May Catechesis. Our youth catechists were guided on how to effectively teach the faith through well-prepared lessons, creative activities, and meaningful discussions.

The training also emphasized proper teaching approaches for different age brackets, helping catechists understand how to adjust methods according to the learners’ age, level of understanding, and needs.

May this formation continue to strengthen every catechist to teach with patience, wisdom, and a joyful heart in service to God.

DAY 1

Youth Catechist Training 2026
“Formed by Mary, Sent to Teach”

A blessed first day was shared by 185 Youth Catechists from the different barangays of the parish as they answered the call to serve and teach. The formation included topics on Teaching Strategies and Assessing if I Am Ready to Teach, helping participants grow in knowledge and readiness for mission.

The afternoon was filled with fun through a Team Building Activity, strengthening unity, friendship, and teamwork among the youth. Guided by Mama Mary, may they continue to serve with faith and joy.
