HAPPY 3RD FOUNDING ANNIVERSARY, COFRADIA DEL SANTO NIÑO- OSLOB CHAPTER!

Today, August 30, 2026, the Cofradia del Santo Niño- Oslob Chapter joyfully celebrates its 3rd Founding Anniversary, commemorating three years of devotion, fellowship, and service in honor of the Child Jesus.

Before the Final Blessing of the 8:30 AM Holy Mass, the members of the Cofradia renewed their commitments, reaffirming their devotion and their resolve to continue strengthening the faith and spreading love for the Santo Niño.

Following the Holy Mass, a short foot procession of the replica image of Señor Santo Niño was held around the parish, allowing the members and devotees to accompany the Holy Child in prayer and devotion. A simple salu-salo was then held at the Parish Convent, providing an opportunity for fellowship and thanksgiving among the members.

As the Cofradia marks another year of its journey, may the Santo Niño continue to guide and bless every member, strengthening their commitment to live out their faith and to share the love of the Child Jesus with others.

The replica image of La Inmaculada Concepción has arrived at the Cebu City Sports Complex, together with the sacred images and carrozas from various municipalities and cities across Cebu for Halad sa Pagtuo 2026.

As of this moment, a Holy Mass is being celebrated inside the complex, bringing together the faithful in prayer and thanksgiving as this meaningful celebration of faith continues.

A grand manifestation of faith and devotion filled the streets of Cebu City as the replica image of La Inmaculada Concepción joined the solemn procession of Halad sa Pagtuo 2026, together with the sacred images and carrozas from various municipalities and cities across Cebu.

Bringing together different communities, traditions, and expressions of devotion, the procession became a beautiful witness to the enduring Catholic faith of the Cebuanos. United in prayer and devotion, the faithful walked together in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary, giving glory to God through this meaningful celebration of faith.

As the celebration of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary draws closer, let us be guided by the Parish Schedule of Activities for the said celebration:

After the Holy Mass, the GRAND MARIAN PROCESSION will follow.

PARROQUIA DE LA INMACULADA CONCEPCION, OSLOB JOINS THE PASUNDAYAG SA PAGTUO 2026

This year’s Pasundayag sa Pagtuo 2026 features a special milestone as the replica image of La Inmaculada Concepcion, Patrona del Pueblo de Oslob, graces the streets of Cebu. Joining the celebration of the annual founding anniversary of the Province of Cebu, this revered icon has served as a beacon of hope for Oslobanons for the past 400 years.

The delegation joins the festivities in deep gratitude for becoming the first parish in the Archdiocese of Cebu to be granted a Spiritual Bond of Affinity with the Papal Basilica of Sta. Maria Maggiore in Rome—a historic honor that brings immense pride to the entire island of Cebu.

With grateful hearts and joyful devotion, the parishioners of the Parroquia de la Inmaculada Concepcion, Oslob, Cebu welcomed the image of Nuestra Señora de Regla as she visited our parish as part of her Visita Señora to different parishes and shrines throughout the Archdiocese of Cebu.

The image was welcomed through a motorcade procession from the Sta. Filomena Chapel to the Parish, accompanied by students from St. Mary’s Academy (Oslob, Cebu), Inc., personnel from the Local Government Unit of Oslob, and devoted parishioners and Marian devotees who gathered to honor and welcome the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Upon her arrival, the image was solemnly enshrined in the parish church, marking the beginning of her visit to the community. This was followed by a Mariology Talk led by Ms. Patricia Morales, a volunteer and member of the Cofradía of Nuestra Señora de Regla. She shared the rich history and origins of the revered image, as well as the growth and spread of the devotion to Our Lady of the Rule, particularly in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu. Thereafter, the faithful were given the opportunity to approach and venerate the sacred image of Nuestra Señora de Regla, entrusting their prayers and petitions to her maternal intercession.

The parish community continues to rejoice in this grace-filled visit as we accompany Nuestra Señora de Regla in her patronal journey across the Archdiocese of Cebu.

The Farewell Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 PM, after which the image will depart the parish at 3:00 PM and continue her patronal visit to the St. Gabriel the Archangel Parish in Santander, Cebu.
