Colossians 3:13
โBear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.โ
There are wounds we donโt talk about
the words that cut deep,
the actions we never expected,
the moments that broke something inside us. They affect how we think, how we trust, and how we love. And forgivenessโฆ it feels impossible sometimes.
But hereโs the truth:
Forgiveness is not pretending the pain didnโt happen.
Forgiveness is choosing not to let the pain control your life anymore.
When you forgive, youโre not saying, โItโs okay.โ
Youโre saying, โGod, Iโm letting this go so I can heal.โ
Forgiveness isnโt weakness itโs freedom.
Itโs choosing to release the bitterness thatโs been weighing your heart down.
Itโs choosing peace instead of poison.
Itโs choosing growth instead of grudges.
And the beautiful thing?
Breakthrough starts the moment you decide to forgive.
Your heart opens. Your spirit breathes again. God refills the places that were once broken.
When you surrender the pain, God replaces it with peace.
When you let go of the past, God leads you into a new chapter.
When you forgive, you step into healing you never thought was possible.
God steps into the places you kept hidden.
He breathes peace into the memories that once suffocated you.
He turns scars into testimonies
and pain into purpose.
Forgiveness doesnโt erase the past,
but it releases its power over your future.
Itโs not forgetting what happened
itโs remembering Who heals.
