𝑨𝒗𝒆 𝑴𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒂!!!

Today, May 1, 2025, 𝑺𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒕 𝑱𝒐𝒉𝒏 𝑷𝒂𝒖𝒍 𝑰𝑰 𝑷𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒉 𝒋𝒐𝒚𝒇𝒖𝒍𝒍𝒚 𝒘𝒆𝒍𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒅 𝒊𝒕𝒔 𝒇𝒊𝒓𝒔𝒕 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝑭𝒍𝒐𝒓𝒆𝒔 𝒅𝒆 𝑴𝒂𝒚𝒐 𝒄𝒆𝒍𝒆𝒃𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒊𝒏 𝒊𝒕𝒔 𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒉 with the theme "𝑲𝑨𝑵𝑮 𝑴𝑨𝑹𝑰𝑨, 𝑷𝑨𝑮𝑳𝑨𝑼𝑴 𝑴𝑶 𝑺𝑰𝑫𝑳𝑨𝑲 𝑼𝑮 𝑫𝑰𝑳𝑰 𝑴𝑨𝑷𝑨𝑲𝒀𝑨𝑺." The opening salvo gathered children from the different barangays and Purok— 𝐀𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐚, 𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐧, 𝐃𝐨𝐧 𝐅𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐞 𝐋𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐳𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐥, 𝐏𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐤 𝐆𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐥𝐚, 𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐲𝐨𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐞. 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐕𝐢𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬.

During the celebration, the newly assigned Semjnarian to conduct his summer apostolate, 𝐁𝐫𝐨. 𝐑𝐞𝐧𝐳𝐞𝐥 𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐩𝐡 𝐓. 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐧̃𝐚 shared a meaningful reflection about prayer. He reminded everyone, especially the children, about what a prayer truly is and how essential it is in building a strong connection with God. 𝐻𝑖𝑠 𝑚𝑒𝑠𝑠𝑎𝑔𝑒 𝑒𝑚𝑝ℎ𝑎𝑠𝑖𝑧𝑒𝑑 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑝𝑟𝑎𝑦𝑒𝑟 𝑖𝑠 𝑛𝑜𝑡 𝑗𝑢𝑠𝑡 𝑑𝑜𝑛𝑒 𝑜𝑐𝑐𝑎𝑠𝑖𝑜𝑛𝑎𝑙𝑙𝑦, 𝑏𝑢𝑡 𝑐𝑎𝑛 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑠ℎ𝑜𝑢𝑙𝑑 𝑏𝑒 𝑑𝑜𝑛𝑒 𝑎𝑛𝑦𝑡𝑖𝑚𝑒. This heartfelt message gives us knowledge and strengthens our faith.

Additionally, our Parish priest, 𝐑𝐞𝐯. 𝐅𝐫. 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐳 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐬 𝐏. 𝐃𝐞𝐥 𝐏𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐫, encouraged the children to practice obedience in their daily lives. 𝐻𝑒 𝑒𝑥𝑝𝑙𝑎𝑖𝑛𝑒𝑑 ℎ𝑜𝑤 𝑜𝑏𝑒𝑑𝑖𝑒𝑛𝑐𝑒 𝑖𝑠 𝑎 𝑣𝑖𝑟𝑡𝑢𝑒 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑏𝑟𝑖𝑛𝑔𝑠 𝑗𝑜𝑦 𝑡𝑜 𝑀𝑎𝑚𝑎 𝑀𝑎𝑟𝑦 𝑎𝑛𝑑 ℎ𝑒𝑟 𝑆𝑜𝑛, 𝐽𝑒𝑠𝑢𝑠 𝐶ℎ𝑟𝑖𝑠𝑡.

𝐋𝐔𝐊𝐀𝐘 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐀 𝐂𝐎𝐒𝐓

On April 13, 2025, Palm Sunday will be observed by the Catholic Church. This marks the first day of Holy Week—the last week of the Lenten season. This celebration commemorates the entry of Jesus Christ in Jerusalem.

To celebrate it, the Youth Ministry of Saint John Paul II Parish will be 𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐮𝐤𝐚𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝟐𝟓 𝐩𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐬 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲. A Lukay is a palm frond that is blessed during Palm Sundays, representing our commitment in obeying Jesus Christ.

This celebration serves as a reminder for us to accept Jesus into our hearts and show our willingness to follow Him and His glorious arrival in Jerusalem and later to Calvary.

On February 01, 2025, the Youth Ministry of Saint John Paul II Parish successfully gathered for the 𝐋𝐀𝐔𝐌 – 𝐋𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐝, 𝐔𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬' 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 which is a recollection for Parish Youth Ministry or Commission on Youth members, inspired by the NCYM 2024 theme "Abound in Joy, Christ is our Hope“, the conference Missioning Day theme from Isaiah 40:31: “Those who hope in the Lord will run and not grow weary,” and the Jubilee Year of Hope 2025 held at Carmelites Spirituality Center, Milagro, Ormoc City.

This first phase of the four phases of AYLC 2025 calls for
the youths, the bearers of hope, to pause and reconnect with God, strengthen their faith, and remind themselves of the enduring light that hope brings, no matter the frustrations, challenges, and pain they face.

Through heartfelt prayers, personal reflections, and sharing of thoughts, they embrace the true essence of hope—not just as a feeling, but as a choice we make every day to trust in God's plan for us. This recollection allowed them to bond as a community by praying for each other, sharing their struggles, and uplifting one another with words of encouragement.

As we look forward to the future, we carry with us the most powerful reminder that in moments of doubt, the hope that God showered into our hearts can guide us through the darkest times and lead us toward better days.

PAAMBIT NIÑO ORPHANAGE VISITATION❤️💛

As we celebrate the month of the Senyor Santo Nino, the Saint John Paul II Parish Youth Ministry together with Rev. Fr. Fritz Francis P. Del Pilar, came together to spread love and kindness to those who need it the most. We had the privilege of visiting the Hayag Charitable Association- Hayag Receiving and Child Caring Home, Inc., where we shared laughter, lessons, and moments of genuine connection with the children. It was a day filled with smiles, as we sought to remind these young souls that they are cherished and never alone.

The activity reminded us of the boundless love, compassion, and humility that the child Jesus was, as per shared by our very own Catechist, Nanay Salome Jumao-as. Through this visit, we were able to embody His spirit by giving back to the community, offering our time, attention, and love to these children who are, in their own way, the true reflections of innocence and hope.

This experience was more than just a celebration—it was a call to action, a reminder that our faith isn’t just lived in church but in the service and care we extend to others. May this day serve as a reminder that we are all children of God, and as we walk through life, we are called to be His hands and feet, spreading His light and love wherever we go.

What an exhilarating day! The Color Fun Run with Zumba at Brgy. Punta Covered Court was a blast today, October 12, 2024! 🏃‍♀️💃 Vibrant colors, energetic moves, and an amazing community spirit made this event a true celebration of health and fitness. Thank you to everyone who joined us in spreading joy and positivity as we await for the upcoming 2nd Year Fiesta of our dream church! Together, we made it unforgettable! 🌈🎉
