When David faced Goliath, he didn’t wait to be told, chosen, or recognized. He simply stepped up and submitted himself. While others saw fear and held back, David saw an opportunity to act in faith, knowing God had already prepared him for that moment.

It’s the same with us in ministry. We don’t always need to wait for a title or approval to serve. Sometimes, God reveals our calling through the needs around us. Learn to look at your current situation and respond, because there is already an anointing prepared for you for that purpose. Ayaw pag huwat.

In behalf of the Words of Life Ormoc, we extend our deepest condolences on the passing of Ptr. Hermie Garbe.

As we laid him to rest today, we take comfort in God’s promise of eternal life for those who are in Christ. We honor his life, his faithful service, and his unwavering dedication to the ministry.

Our prayers remain with his family and the Words of Life Liloan church.

We joined the Regional Conference 2026 last April 30 to May 1, and truly, it was more than just an event, it was an encounter.

The fire didn’t just fall on the altar, it ignited something within us.

Just like in 1 Kings 18, we witnessed again that when we call on the true God, He answers with power, with fire, and with undeniable presence. This conference reminded us that He is not silent, He is not distant, He is alive, moving, and consuming everything that is not of Him.

May the fire we encountered here continue to burn in our hearts. Refining our faith, strengthening our devotion, and calling us back to Him again and again.

“Then the fire of the Lord fell…” — and nothing was ever the same.

The fire is still burning. 🔥

There are moments when we think we’re serving God, but deep inside, we’re still holding on to our own plans.
We choose what’s comfortable, what’s easy, what makes sense to us.

But true service is not about convenience, it’s about surrender. It’s laying down our own desires and trusting that His way, even when it’s hard, is always better.
