The Vicariate of Ormoc Federation of Altar Servers held the first batch of its Lenten Recollection, divided into two groups. Yesterday, the Mother of the Redeemer Parish, St. Mark the Evangelist Parish, and St. John Paul II Parish united, with the first group hosted by Bro. Rey Salisid, while on the other venue, San Lorenzo Ruiz de Manila Parish's speaker was Bro. Lance Axl Metran, the Federation President.

This weekly recollection was organized to nurture the spiritual growth of every altar server in our vicariate, ensuring they are strengthened in faith and service. Every week, two sessions will take place, where two speakers from the federation will visit the host parish to give a recollection.

Let us all be reminded of Pope Francis' message for this year's Lenten Season; "Journeying together in hope." Walking side by side, we cherish the moments of our shared journey—rooted in hope, strengthened by faith, and guided by love.

The Vicariate of Ormoc Federation of Altar Servers is pleased to announce the return of the Spiritual outreach activity, which includes visits to various parishes and the opportunity for altar servers to receive the sacrament of reconciliation. During each visit, the Coordinators will engage with the altar servers while the spiritual director, Fr. Cris, will administer the sacrament of confession, providing an opportunity for spiritual renewal and growth.
