Viva Sr. Sto. Niño!

The yearly celebration of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Parish commemorated its 5th Sinulog Festival in honor of Sr. Sto. Niño, ang balaang bata. The celebration began with a 7:00 a.m. motorcade, participated in by devoted parishioners, filling the streets with faith and excitement.

This was followed by the Fiesta Holy Mass at 10:00 a.m., concelebrated by Most Rev. Archbishop John F. Du, D.D., together with our parish priest, Rev. Fr. Marlon Cua. The Mass was attended by various Basic Ecclesial Communities (BECs) and led by the Cofradia ni Sr. Sto. Niño – Curva Chapter, who gathered to honor and give praise to Sr. Sto. Niño.

After the Mass, Most Rev. Archbishop John F. Du, D.D. joyfully danced in honor of Sr. Sto. Niño while holding the image of the Holy Child. He encouraged parishioners to bring their own images and join the celebration. The lively band music added to the festive atmosphere as the faithful expressed their devotion through dance and pagdayeg.

Following a short lunch break, the celebration continued with the performances of Clusters 1, 2, 3, and 4, offering their halad ni Sr. Sto. Niño. Through their graceful dances, the community came together in praise, adoration, thanksgiving, and deep faith, making the celebration truly meaningful.

Unto Us a Child Is Born!

On this holy and blessed night, our parish joyfully gathered for the 9:00 PM Christmas Eve Mass to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Despite the late hour, parishioners came together with hearts full of faith and hope, rejoicing in the coming of Emmanuel—God with us. Through prayers, hymns, and the proclamation of the Word, we were reminded of God’s immeasurable love, made visible in the humble birth of Christ.

This meaningful celebration allowed us to reflect on the true spirit of Christmas: love, humility, peace, and salvation. As we welcome the Light of the World, may His presence continue to guide and bless our families and our parish community.

May the joy of Christmas fill our hearts, today and always.

Merry Christmas!

Today, we joyfully celebrate our 22nd Parish and BEC Fiesta with the theme “𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮, 𝗜𝗻𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝘀𝗮 𝗥𝗼𝘀𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗼: 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗮𝗻 𝘀𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝗴𝘁𝘂𝗼 𝘂𝗴 𝗣𝗮𝗴𝗹𝗮𝘂𝗺 𝘀𝗮 𝗧𝘂𝗶𝗴 𝘀𝗮 𝗝𝘂𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗼.” The Pontifical Mass was presided over by 𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝘃. 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝗙. 𝗗𝘂, 𝗗.𝗗., together with our priests and parish community from the different BECs.

In his message, Archbishop Du reminded us that “𝙃𝙤𝙥𝙚 𝙣𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙙𝙞𝙨𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙨.” Through prayer, especially the Holy Rosary, what seems impossible becomes possible.

The mysteries of the Rosary invite us to reflect on the mysteries of life itself. Just as the life of Christ reveals humility and glory, so too are we called to live with faith and humility, trusting in the Kingdom of Heaven. Mama Mary continues to guide us in the life of Christ, leading us closer to God with every prayer.

May this celebration strengthen our faith, renew our hope, and deepen our love as one parish community under the protection of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary.
