Psalm 146:7-9
"He upholds the cause of the oppressed and gives food to the hungry. The Lord sets prisoners free, the Lord gives sight to the blind, the Lord lifts up those who are bowed down, the Lord loves the righteous. The Lord watches over the foreigner and sustains the fatherless and the widow, but he frustrates the ways of the wicked."

From last year's Sundays up until last month, the AMICUS organization is grateful and honored to be part of their adviser's, Ma’am Mary Ann Osores, Extension Activity at Lingap Center, the home and shelter for girls. From assessing every task that was given to them, creating engaging activities( icebreaker), sharing snacks, and encouraging prayers, we're committed to helping them grow and thrive.

This program is not just about helping—it’s about making these youth feel valued, loved, and cared for. Even small gestures can make a big difference in their lives. May the God of hope bless them all.

Praise the Lord for the opportunity and experience! 😇🙏

MIDWEEK WORSHIP |01-22-2025|

All glory to our Almighty God for His unending grace and for letting us gather for our first Midweek Worship this semester. 🙏😇

We would also like to thank Bro. Jonathan Belmoro, president of Ormo-Albuera District Youth Department, together with some of his officers. We highly appreciate your presence, praising God in the middle of the week with us. May the God of hope bless you!

On this day, we were reminded to always abide in God and He will abide in us, keep His commandments and we will abide in His love, love one another as He has loved us, reflecting John 15:1-17. May this message dwells in us and always be a reminder in our daily lives as we wait for the second coming of the Lord.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Syphon Church for your warm welcome and the delicious food you prepared for us. We thank you for your benevolence, and may God bless you abundantly.

A special thanks to our president, Honey Gracy Casio, for the meaningful message drawn from Acts 13:22. You reminded us that no one can be good enough by their own efforts, but anyone can be repentant enough to be forgiven. We are reminded that if God could forgive David, who committed grievous sins, and Paul, who was once a persecutor, He can also—and will—forgive us, no matter how great our sins. Even though we are sinners and wear dirty robes, God can make them white as snow if we seek Him and ask for His forgiveness. (Isaiah 1:18)
As followers of Christ, we may face criticism for our imperfections, mistakes, and wrongdoings yet we come to church not as perfect people, but as forgiven and chosen ones of God.

To the officers and members of the AMiCUS organization, your presence was deeply appreciated and we thank you for your participation, which made our divine service and A.Y. program prosperous and joyful."

CLEAN-UP DRIVE PROGRAM

AMiCUS EVSU ORMOC held a clean up drive program today, September 29, 2024 , in Eastern Visayas State University. They spent their time to tidy up the place, mostly near the oval and old technology building, so that students can learn with a clean environment.

Also, we encourage everyone to be responsible enough in maintaining our campus clean as it can help us to focus during classes. As we all know “Cleanliness is next to Godliness”, therefore, how you keep yourself and your surroundings clean shows your characteristics.

In addition, as the Intramurals 2024 will happen this week, this clean-up drive program we have made could be a part of the preparation for this event. We hope that during the event, everyone will be good to our environment and put their garbage to a proper place. God bless, players.

We would also love to send our grateful appreciation to the people that made this program possible, to all officers and members that supported this, to the ones who cleaned and the ones that paid the sanction, thank you everyone❤️.

Let us continue to do our ministry in any ways, like this cleaning program. ✨
