Preparing for a mission taught me what that truly means.
True discipleship is not centered on personal comfort, convenience, or recognition. It is about surrendering my own desires and placing the Lord’s purpose above my own. It is about trusting His timing, submitting to His will, and allowing Him to shape me into who He needs me to become.

Hello! I'm Sister Ramos.
I’ve always had the deepest desire to serve a mission. But preparing to go on a mission has really challenged me.

Preparing for this mission has stretched and refined me in ways I did not expect. Along the way, I faced challenges and moments of doubt and delays that felt heavy, and times when I questioned why things weren’t happening the way I hoped.
although it was hard, I eventually began to see that the Lord was never delaying me—He was preparing me.

Through this experience, I have come to understand that God truly works through His perfect timing. Little by little, He helped me recognize that He was shaping me for something greater than I could see.

As I learned to trust Him, especially when it was hard
I felt my faith deepen. I began to set aside my own expectations and worldly desires and instead trust in His divine plan.

This journey has strengthened my relationship with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.
I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ are real. I know They are aware of me I know that They are guiding me, preparing me, and walking with me. Receiving my mission call has reminded me that when we trust in the Lord with our whole hearts,
He leads us to places and purposes far more beautiful than anything we could create on our own.

I have been called to serve as a missionary of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, assigned to the Japan Fukuoka Mission. I am deeply grateful for this opportunity to take part in God’s loving work of bringing souls back to Him. There is no greater joy than helping others come to know Jesus Christ and partake of the blessings His gospel freely offers to everyone.

I bear my testimony that the gospel of Jesus Christ is true. It means everything to me. It helped me find meaning, direction, and peace in a world full of uncertainty. Through the gospel, I learned who we truly are—beloved children of a loving Heavenly Father—and that our lives are part of His eternal and perfect plan.

I testify that Heavenly Father knows each of us personally. His love is constant, patient, and unfailing. Because He loves us, He sent His Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to be our Savior and Redeemer. Through the infinite Atonement of Jesus Christ, everything becomes possible!

I know that Jesus Christ lives! He is the Son of God. He perfectly understands our pain, our struggles, and our weaknesses, and that through Him we can be forgiven, healed, strengthened, and changed.
Although we are not perfect, I testify that He perfectly loves us.

As we center our lives on the Savior and follow Him, He will guide us, strengthen us, and help us become more than we could ever be on our own. I share my testimony in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Mariveles 2nd Branch - Chapel Dedication

A new chapter began as the chapel of the Mariveles 2nd Branch was consecrated to the Lord on Sunday, December 21, 2025 with Elder Danilo Costales. This stands as a symbol of faith, hope, and eternal purpose. May all who enter this house of worship feel peace, belonging, and the love of Jesus Christ.

"I would like to bear my testimony that the Book of Mormon has been one of the greatest influences in helping me believe in and trust in the Church of Jesus Christ. before hindi ako naniniwala sa mga turo ng mga missionary because I knew I had other beliefs of my own. But through reading the Book of Mormon, through His atonement and praying—as the missionaries invited me to do—I learned to try and open my heart.
When I did these things, I truly realized and received answers. I came to know that the Book of Mormon is true and that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is real. I also learned that God sends people and instruments to help us understand the things we need to know about Jesus Christ.

I realized that when we have faith, trust in God, and sincerely ask Him, we can know the things that will help us in our lives. This has truly helped me change and grow, at dahil yun sa liwanag at pagbabayad sala ni JesuCristo.
Through His Atonement, we are never beyond the reach of His love.

I served a mission kasi mahal ko ang Diyos at gayundin ang mga tao kahit na hindi ko sila kilala. Gusto ko ma-ishare yung ebanghelyo ni Jesus Christ at masabi sa iba kung paano ako nabago ng pagbabayad sala ni Jesus Christ. Also, I chose to serve because I’ve seen missionaries love people even when they’re rejected, showing how deeply they love God. I know that serving God isn’t a sacrifice it’s the greatest privilege for us.

"I want to serve a mission not only because it's required, but to help others COME UNTO CHRIST and receive the RESTORED GOSPEL of JESUS CHRIST. The Restored Gospel also helps me to become better every single day—especially, when I read and study His words. The Book of Mormon helped me to come unto Him and to be more like Him. The scriptures help me to deepen my understanding of the Lord's love for everyone. The Book of Mormon teach about the Atonement of the Savior and to feel his love.

I want to share my testimony because I know that the Lord needs me to do His work—to preach His Restored Gospel. I know that the Lord needed me in the Philippines Cauayan Mission to serve Him and His children. I know that the Book of Mormon is true and it testifies a lot about our Savior, Jesus Christ. I'm very happy that the Lord called me not to be served but to serve others.

I share these things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, Amen."

"I testify that the Book of Mormon is true, without this, I won't have a desire to serve a mission. By reading it daily, I slowly gain a desire to serve—I was inspired by 4 Sons of Mosiah. He loves me, for I know that He let me gain His restored gospel in this life. I testify that Prophet Joseph Smith has been used as an instrument of Heavenly Father to let him restore His true church here on earth. I know that Jesus Christ is the center of His plan of salvation. I testify that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the only true church that makes my life full of joy.
