๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐: To equip laypeople with the knowledge and skills they need to effectively serve in their churches and communities, parishes from the entire Northern Region gathered for the Lay Empowerment Congress (CHARIS) in Oras, Eastern Samar, on April 26.
The theme, "Living the Power of the Holy Spirit: The Key to New Evangelization," served as a reminder of the transformative role the Holy Spirit plays in our lives and in our mission to spread the gospel.
The event featured inspiring talks from Bro. Ed Villacorte, along with Bro. Arnel Balbin and Sis. Vhiz Ortaliz, who shared their insights and provided motivation and guidance to the non-ordained members of the religious community.
The congress deepened participantsโ understanding of the Holy Spirit and offered practical ways to live their faith and share the gospel. The event was full of energy and inspiration, motivating attendees to apply their new knowledge in serving the Church and their communities.
