Alma teaches the people in Gideon that God cannot dwell in “unholy temples” and encourages them instead to “walk after the holy order of God, after which ye have been received” (Alma 7:21–22).

We can “walk after the holy order of God” by keeping His commandments and relying on His Son, Jesus Christ, for forgiveness after sincere repentance. How are you going to walk after this holy order in the coming week?

"Sincere… But Sincerely Wrong"

Brothers and sisters, I was sincere…But I was sincerely wrong.
For years, I woke up early to pray. I read my Bible. I defended my faith when people questioned it. I even loved Bible debates, thinking I knew everything about God. I was following Him sincerely.
But was my devotion real? Or was I kneeling at the wrong altar?
Because even though I knew a lot of scripture, there was always an emptiness I couldn’t explain. Questions with no answers. A God who felt distant. Like I was devoted to a ghost.
I was striving to follow the commandments in the Bible. But I wasn’t finding Him. That’s when I realized:
Sincerity isn’t the same as truth.
But God didn’t waste my sincerity. He used it._
Step by step, line upon line, He led me. To missionaries. To the Book of Mormon. To a prayer where, for the first time, I felt Him answer.
I learned who Christ really is. I found His Church — The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The same heart that was wrong… now has a genuine and loving home.God’s love never ends and never fades even we fell and did undesirable decision, its an evident way that he is always there.( Moroni 8:26-and the remission of sins bringeth meekness, and lowliness of heart; and because of meekness and lowliness of heart cometh the visitation of the Holy Ghost, which Comforter filleth with hope and perfect love, which love endureth by diligence unto prayer, until the end shall come, when all the saints shall dwell with God.)
God will never leave you in your journey. Sometimes we feel lost and forgotten, without realizing He’s just redirecting our path — a path where His presence and light never vanish.
So if you’re reading right now thinking your past was wasted… it wasn’t. God honors sincere hearts, even when they’re pointed the wrong way. He did it for me. He will surely do it for you.
I know Jesus Christ lives. I know He guides us to truth. I know He never gave up on a sincerely wrong man from Oras.
In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

It is easy to get distracted by things that are "good," but remember that your time and energy are limited resources.

You have to be willing to set aside the merely okay to make room for the "best" choices that actually build your faith and bind your family together.

It’s not about doing more, but about being intentional so that your daily life reflects what truly matters most to you.

As Mary Magdalene and her companions mournfully approached the Garden Tomb, two angels appeared to them and shared the clarion call of all Christianity:

"Why seek ye the living among the dead?"

"He is not here, but is risen" (Luke 24:5-6).

This Easter season we also joyfully testify of this same eternal truth—Jesus Christ is risen. He lives!

The Savior of the world was crucified and, on the third day, rose from the dead, "the firstfruits of them that slept" (1 Corinthians 15:20). His Resurrection allows all to be resurrected, and through His grace, we can find peace "which passeth all understanding" (Philippians 4:7) and "be perfected in him" (Moroni 10:32).

We invite each of you during this Easter season to "seek this Jesus of whom the prophets and apostles have written" (Ether 12:41). As you do so, we testify that your Easter celebrations can strengthen your own faith and testimony that "death is conquered; man is free. Christ has won the victory" ("He Is Risen!" Hymns, no. 199).

I am Neil Rodriguez Mecono, and I had the privilege of being baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on September 6, 2025. This letter serves to convey my deep appreciation, testimony, and commitment to serving a mission. I wish to express my profound gratitude to the Church of Jesus Christ and the Latter-day Saints for guiding me in embracing the restored gospel and fostering my faith in Jesus Christ and His atonement. My heartfelt thanks extend to the missionaries and leaders whose support has been instrumental in my spiritual journey, empowering me to pursue a path of courage and faithfulness within the Church. Additionally, I am thankful for the Book of Mormon, which has been a vital resource in strengthening my faith and inspiring me to seek Christ amid any challenges I may face. Furthermore, my testimony stands as a beacon of light, capable of uplifting the lives of many. I bear witness that I am now part of the true Church of Jesus Christ.I have powerful testimony of the restoration of the Gospel through the prophet Joseph Smith. Through his sacred work, I can affirm that we have a living prophet guiding us today, none other than President Dallin H. Oaks. His leadership and wisdom are a continuation of divine guidance that strengthens our faith and reinforces our beliefs. I also bear witness to the profound truth that the Book of Mormon serves as another testament of Jesus Christ, offering profound insights into His atonement and His love for all humankind. This sacred text complements the Holy Bible, deepening our understanding of the Savior’s mission and the encompassing narrative of redemption and hope.

Furthermore, I want to express how this church has played an instrumental role in my personal journey. It has helped me develop into a person characterized by strength, resilience, humility, and a devoted faith in God. Through its teachings and community, I have learned valuable lessons that have fortified my character, enabling me to face life's challenges with grace and unwavering belief. The principles I have embraced have molded me into a more faithful servant of God.

In closing, I feel compelled to share my heartfelt desire to embark on a mission. While I acknowledge that I am over 25 years of age, I humbly request the opportunity to serve. My recent baptism has ignited a fervent passion within me to share the love of Christ and invite others to come unto Him. This mission is not merely a personal aspiration; it is a calling that I feel deeply in my soul. My sincere desire coupled with strong faith will undoubtedly serve as a solid foundation for my role as an obedient and diligent missionary.

With overwhelming gratitude and an unwavering testimony, I want to express that my commitment to serve is rooted in a profound sense of purpose. My mind, heart, and spirit are all aligned in this endeavor, demonstrating my readiness to represent God’s love to the world. I am Neil Rodriguez Mecono, and through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, I will strive to be forever faithful and worthy as a servant of God.
