“No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.” — Gospel of Matthew 6:24 (ESV)

Every day we make choices that reveal who truly rules our hearts. We may try to balance devotion to God with attachment to money, comfort, reputation, or control—but Jesus makes it clear: divided loyalty is impossible. Sooner or later, one master will shape our priorities, decisions, and direction. Following Christ requires more than words; it demands wholehearted allegiance.

Will you choose to serve the Lord with an undivided heart?

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations…” — Matthew 28:19

Sending brothers to relocate for the sake of work, family or ministry is never easy. There is joy, but there is also sacrifice. We release not because we want distance, but because Christ deserves to be proclaimed everywhere. The church is not called to keep, but to send.

Moving for the gospel reminds us that Jesus Himself left heaven to dwell among us. In the same way, our brothers go—not for comfort, but for Christ. We entrust them to the Lord, knowing that the mission is His, the power is His, and the glory is His alone.

“They devoted themselves… to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” — Acts 2:42

A fellowship meal is more than food on the table — it is grace shared in community. When we gather to eat, we are reminded that we belong to one family in Christ. Around simple dishes and shared laughter, walls come down, burdens are lightened, and hearts are strengthened. In every shared meal, we taste not only the food but the goodness of God expressed through His people. Conversations become encouragement. Testimonies build faith. Unity grows stronger.
The table becomes a place of ministry.

Will you choose to see your next fellowship meal not just as an event to attend, but as an opportunity to love, listen, and serve?

Psalm 95:3-5
International Standard Version
3 For the Lord is an God;
a great king above all divine beings.[a]
4 He holds in his hand the lowest parts of the earth
and the mountain peaks belong to him.
5 The sea that he made belongs to him,
along with the dry land that his hands formed.

“Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!” — Philippians 4:4

True joy is not based on easy circumstances but on an unchanging God. Trials may shake us, but they do not remove God’s faithfulness. To rejoice is a choice—to trust that He is still good, still in control, and still working for our good.

Will you choose to rejoice in the Lord today, or will you allow your challenges to steal your joy?

1 Corinthians 15:20 (ESV)
“But in fact Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.”

The resurrection of Jesus is not just a past event—it is our present hope and future assurance. When Christ rose from the grave, He proved that sin was defeated, death was conquered, and God’s promises are true. The empty tomb means our faith is not in vain. Because Jesus lives, our faith is true, our sins are forgiven, and our hope is alive.

Will you choose to rise in faith, in hope, and in new life?

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” — Matthew 28:19–20 (ESV)

This is the mission of the church. We are not saved to be spectators, but disciples who make disciples. At Living In Faith Evangelical Church, our mission is clear: to glorify God by making committed disciples of Jesus Christ in Eastern Samar and beyond. We gather to grow in Christ, and we go to lead others to Him.

Are we faithfully obeying the Great Commission where God has placed us?

“O Lord, you have searched me and known me.” — Psalm 139:1

Psalm 139 reminds us that God knows us completely and loves us deeply. There is nowhere we can go where His presence is absent, and nothing about us is hidden from Him. We are fearfully and wonderfully made, created with purpose. Since God knows us fully, our right response is surrender—asking Him to search our hearts and lead us in His everlasting way.

Will you choose to trust Him and surrender your life to Him today?
