ICYMI: Another Blessed Lord’s Day at SGBC! ❤️

What a wonderful time of worship and fellowship we had as a church family! We gathered together to praise our Savior, worship Him, and hear His Word proclaimed through the preaching of Ptr. Lino.

From Joshua 1:1–18, we were reminded of the characters we need to have for a successful ministry for God. As Joshua faced a new chapter and a great responsibility, God called him to be courageous, obedient, committed to His Word, and willing to move forward in faith.

The success of our ministry is not measured merely by what we accomplish, but by our faithfulness to God's calling and our willingness to follow His Word.

May we, like Joshua, be strong and of a good courage, trust God's promises, and faithfully serve Him wherever He has placed us.

“Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.” — Joshua 1:9 (KJV)

Dear church family, please be informed that our Prayer Meeting scheduled for today, August 19, 2026, will not be held face-to-face due to inclement weather.

For everyone’s safety, we encourage everyone to remain at home and continue spending time in prayer and fellowship with the Lord.

Let us continue to pray for God’s protection, wisdom, and strength for our church family and community.

A NEW BEGINNING, A NEW CHAPTER! 🙌

What a blessed and memorable day for SGBC! On August 16, 2026, we joyfully celebrated the successful launch of our Temporary Worship Hall and our SGBC Foundation Day.

We were blessed by the preaching of Dr. James Lee Tica from Colossians 3:1–17, with the message “New Beginnings”—a timely reminder to set our minds on things above and walk in the newness of life in Christ.

As we step into this new chapter, may we continue to seek Christ, serve faithfully, and glorify God together.

To God be all the glory for His faithfulness!🙏

18th 𝙄𝙣𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙎𝙂𝘽𝘾 𝙅𝙖𝙞𝙡 𝙈𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙮 — 𝙁𝙚𝙢𝙖𝙡𝙚 𝘿𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙞𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙮 🙏

By God's grace, we were once again given the opportunity to minister to our sisters at the Female Dormitory, where a total of 94 Female Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) heard the Word of God.

Through the preaching of God's Word, prayer, and fellowship, we continue to bring the message of hope, salvation, and the transforming grace of Jesus Christ to those behind bars. May the seed of God's Word take root and bear fruit in every heart.

We praise the Lord for opening doors for this ministry and for everyone who faithfully supports it through prayers, generosity, and service.

To God be all the glory! 🙌

ICYMI: We thank the Lord for another meaningful Wednesday Prayer Meeting this August 12, 2026. 🙏📖

Deacon Carlo led us through Mark 10:46–52, reflecting on how God responds to our prayers in different ways. We were reminded that when we bring our requests before the Lord, we can trust His wisdom, timing, and perfect will.

May we continue to pray with faith, remain patient in waiting, and trust that God knows what is best for us—even when His answer may not be what we expect.

Let us keep seeking the Lord in prayer and placing our trust in Him. 🙏
