All Glory and Thanks to God

With deeply grateful hearts, we give all glory, honor, and praise to our Lord Jesus Christ, our faithful Provider and Sustainer.

We thank the Lord for His unfailing love and faithfulness, especially during difficult times. Through the generosity of the SBCF Family, He has once again provided for the needs of His people through this second wave of relief goods.

We are grateful that the Lord chose to use SBCF Family as an instrument of His love and provision for the OCCC Family, and that the church of Ptr. Rene Mapusao was also blessed through this outreach.

Indeed, God knows every need, and He provides at the right time through people He allows to be a blessing.

Thank you, SBCF Family, for allowing God to use your hearts, hands, and resources to bless others. May your generosity continue to glorify His name and point people back to Him.

The Life of Rahab
Trusting and Following God

Rahab’s story reminds us that our past does not define our future, God’s grace does. Despite her circumstances and background, Rahab chose to believe in God, trust His promises, and follow Him.

Her faith led her to make a courageous decision, and God gave her a new beginning and a place in His greater plan.

When we choose to trust and follow God, even when we cannot see the whole picture, He is faithful to lead us and transform our lives.

By faith Rahab the pr******te received the spies in peace and did not perish with those who were disobedient.— Hebrews 11:31

May Rahab’s life encourage every woman to trust God, follow Him faithfully, and believe that He can use our lives for His purpose.

Listening to God

Search me, O God, and know my heart… See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.-- Psalm 139:23-24

Sometimes, listening to God means being quiet enough to let Him speak into our hearts. We may ask God for direction, but we also need to allow Him to reveal our attitudes, struggles, mistakes, and areas that need to change.

It reminds us that God is not only interested in what we do. He cares about who we are becoming. Take time to listen, reflect, and allow God to lead you.

OCCC Ladies Bible Study

Discipleship Rooted in Salvation

If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.
— Luke 9:23

True discipleship begins with the salvation we have received through Jesus Christ. We do not follow Him to earn God’s love or to gain salvation we follow Him because we have already experienced His grace and redemption.

To be a disciple of Christ means surrendering ourselves daily, carrying our cross, and choosing to walk in obedience to Him. Our commitment to follow Jesus is a response of gratitude for what He has done for us.

Salvation is the foundation. Discipleship is the response. Christlikeness is the goal.
