There have been many times in my life when I strongly pursued my personal desires for wealth, recognition, and success, and even with only a few achievements, I began to develop pride and an unhealthy sense of self-importance. The Lord reminds me that I cannot truly follow Him if my heart is filled with pride, sin, and selfish ambition, and He calls me instead to surrender and entrust everything to Him. What value is there in gaining great wealth or success if my soul is being lost, and what is the purpose of achieving everything if it does not lead me closer to God and eternal life? The truth is that everything in this world will fade, but the soul will live forever, and no amount of money, fame, or achievement is worth losing what God has given for eternity.

I often feel pressured by where I am in life, especially when I feel stagnant in my work and uncertain about my growth, yet God continually reminds me that money, fame, and career success are meaningless without Him. Therefore, I choose to deny myself, let go of my selfish desires, and fully surrender my life to God, trusting Him to guide my future and lead me according to His will.

"Then he called the crowd to him along with his disciples and said: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. 35 For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me and for the gospel will save it. What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul?"
- Mark 8:34-36

Yesterday’s Bible study focused on Who is Jesus, revealing how, from the Old Testament to the New Testament, God’s Word consistently points to Him as the promised Messiah. Through prophecy and fulfillment, we saw that Jesus is Emmanuel, our Savior, and the hope God planned from the very beginning. We are grateful to grow in faith together as we study His Word.

Taking care of our bodies is also an act of worship, because they are the temple of God. Through movement, laughter, and fellowship, we were reminded that wellness encompasses not only physical health but also spiritual well-being.

Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own;

God never failed to care for us in 2025. Every prayer heard, every need met, every step guided. As we step into 2026, we choose faith over fear because the same God who carried us then is already holding our tomorrow.

“The Lord is faithful to all His promises and loving toward all He has made.”

Sometimes we do things just to get NOTICED or because of RECOGNITION. 1 Corinthians 10:31 reminds us that the true value of our work isn’t measured by what others see, but by the heart we put into it. When we serve with sincerity, passion, and purpose, it can be meaningful when we do them for God.

No matter what you’re doing today, whether school, work, chores, or helping someone, give it your best, like you’re doing it for God. He sees your effort, your heart, and your love in everything. Every small act done with care counts more than you think.

Blessed Monday!
