HOW NOAH FOUND GRACE IN GOD’S EYES

"But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD. These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God” (Genesis 6:8,9) Grace is one of the most comforting words in all of Scripture. In Genesis 6:8, the Hebrew word used for grace is chen, which means unmerited favor, acceptance, or delight....

HOW CHRISTIANS MOCK GOD

“Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap” (Galatians 6:7) What Does It Mean to "Mock" God? To "mock" God means to turn up your nose at Him, treat His principles with contempt, or act as if His words carry no real power or consequences. The Bible highlights several general ways people mock God:...

STRATEGY AGAINST TEMPTATION

We all face temptation. No one is immune to it, and we all stand on equal footing when it comes to struggling with sin. Some are tempted often, while others face it less frequently. If there was ever a man who faced intense temptation, it was Joseph. Scripture tells us he was “handsome in form and appearance” (Genesis 39:6), which made him attractive to women....

BETTER CHRISTIANS

Do "better" Christians deserve a better pastor and a better church? To answer that, we first have to ask: what does "better" actually mean? In human terms, "better" means superior by comparison. In this world, some things are clearly better than others: ● A disciplined person seems better than a lazy one. ● The godly seem better than the wicked....

CHRISTIANS WHO STAY OFFENDED

The Bible clearly teaches that we must forgive others just as God forgave us (Ephesians 4:32) and leave the past behind (Philippians 3:13). Yet, some Christians choose to stay offended and weighed down by past hurts. Whether they realize it or not, they hold onto their pain rather than forgiving, healing, and moving forward with fellow believers. Jesus warned us that offenses will naturally come in this life (Matthew 18:7)....

NO CHURCH MODEL

Have you ever noticed that Scripture nowhere commands believers to imitate a local church? You will never find a verse that says, "Imitate the Ephesian church," or "Model yourselves after the Philippian church." No single congregation—whether first-century or modern, local or universal—is ever set forward in Scripture as a rigid blueprint for all others to copy. No two churches are identical....

BROTHER/SISTER IS ALWAYS RIGHT

Let's admit it: it is hard to deal with people when the person you are interacting with feels like they are the only one who is always right. In the church, in the community, or even in group chats, we are familiar with this kind of vibe. They are the ones we call "Brother or Sister Always Right." At first glance, it seems impressive....

OUR HEAVENLY BODY

As we age, our physical bodies naturally grow weaker and weaker. No medicine, diet, or technology in this world can ever stop the aging process. However, God has promised a complete transformation for His children. Through the apostle Paul, God reassures us that "we shall all be changed" (1 Corinthians 15:51,52) and that Christ "will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body" (Philippians 3:21)....

WE MUST LEAVE EGYPT

When God rescued the Israelites, He brought them out of a physical, literal land called Egypt. Today, as Christians, we are called to leave our spiritual Egypt. Throughout Scripture, Egypt played a complex role. It was often a temporary place of refuge during times of hardship, but it was never intended to be God's final destination for His people. I. EGYPT IN THE OLD TESTAMENT…...

WHY DID PAUL BOAST OF HIS WEAKNESSES?

"…I will not boast, except of my weaknesses” (2 Corinthians 12:5) In the original Greek, the word used for weakness (astheneia) means feebleness, physical infirmity, frailty, or sickness. Paul’s statement completely goes against human nature. In this world, people boast about their strengths, accomplishments, wealth, and power—not their diseases or failures! So why would Paul gladly brag about his limitations?...
