Strengthen each other and continue to have a solid foundation in each other's faith and help be firm in the Torah (Instructions) One Echad Messianic Faith
Olongapo City Ministry
One Echad Messianic Faith is a congregation of believers in Olongapo City, Zambales, Philippines with a common belief that Yeshua (ישוע) is the Messiah, and that Yahweh’s (יהוה) teaching and instructions as given in the T
orah (law, instructions, teachings, and commandments) and the rest of the biblical scriptures are still applicable to our daily lives. We honor the Elohim (God) of our Salvation with songs and dances, with music and rejoicing, and join in weekly fellowship and Torah study. Echad is the Hebrew word for one, but more precisely it means a single entity but made up of more than one part. There is another Hebrew word from the same root – Yachid which means single. The meaning of Echad (more than one part) is a confirmation of the Hebrew word Elohim which is translated as God. One Echad means One United. Our Statement of Faith:
We believe in the One living true Elohim, the Elohim of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob as He has revealed himself in the Scriptures; that He hears and answers prayers of the faithful; that He created all and is able to redeem all who come to Him through Yeshua (Jesus).
We believe that Yeshua is the Son of Elohim, the promised Messiah to Israel in accordance with the Torah and the Prophets; He is the Word who became flesh and lived among us.
We believe in Yeshua’s divinity, miracles, teaching, sacrificial atoning death, and bodily resurrection; that He is the Way, Truth, and the Life; that no one comes to the Father except through Him; that a person’s life is renewed/regenerated (born again) when they repent, place their faith and receive Him as their Lord and Savior.
We believe that all have sinned and have fallen short of the glory of God; in the justification by faith through His grace alone, and not by human efforts. No one can earn, merit, or receive eternal salvation by his own efforts.
We believe that God has sent His Ruach Ha-Kodesh (Holy Spirit) as our Helper, Comforter, Teacher, Gift-giver, Guide and He abides and empowers all whom He regenerates.
We believe that the Tanakh (Torah, Prophets, Writings) in their original texts are given by divine inspiration and are the written authoritative Word of Elohim; that the Torah is the foundation upon which the remainder of the Scriptures (New Covenant) stands.
We believe that the Torah is a revelation of the righteousness of Elohim; and it is a guide (along with the rest of Scriptures) for a holy, faithful and obedient way of life of the redeemed person.
We believe that the Shabbat (Sabbath or seventh day of the week) and the Feasts of our Adonai (Lord) as written in Leviticus 23 are prophetic and continue to be celebrated as a holy convocation (gathering or assembly).
We believe in the continuity of Elohim's covenants with the Jewish people, and the physical people of Israel; that all non-Jewish people who trust in Yeshua are grafted into Israel. While this does not make them Jewish, they are full and equal participants in the covenants of promise.
We believe in the unity and equality of all Messianic believers (those who place their faith in Messiah Yeshua) and in the specific calling of Israel as the royal priesthood to the nations who are specially and everlastingly loved by Elohim.
We believe in the literal, pre-millennial physical return of the Messiah to eternally rule and reign upon the throne of David in Jerusalem. We believe in the resurrection, and the judgement of the living of the dead at the time of His coming.
