𝐑𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐔𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞

We are happy to share the ongoing progress in the renovation of the gate and façade of the Diocesan Shrine and Parish of St. Vincent Ferrer.

This project aims to enhance the beauty, safety, and welcoming presence of our beloved church while preserving its sacred character and rich heritage. The improvements to the main gate and façade symbolize not only structural renewal but also our continuing spiritual growth as one faith community.

We thank everyone who continues to support this endeavor through prayers, donations, and encouragement. Your generosity and unity make this project possible.

We are deeply saddened by the passing of our dear Lola Marieta "Maret" Inocencio, a faithful and dedicated member of our church who together with his husband took the lead in building our beloved chapel, the Malilico Sto. Niño Chapel. Her legacy of faith and service will always be remembered.

Let us keep the family in our prayers during this time of mourning.

Ang Santacruzan ay isang mahalagang bahagi ng kulturang Pilipino na isinasagawa tuwing buwan ng Mayo bilang paggunita sa Flores de Mayo — ang buwang iniaalay kay Birheng Maria sa pamamagitan ng mga bulaklak at panalangin. Sa pagdiriwang na ito, ating inaalala ang makasaysayang paghahanap ni Reyna Elena at ng kanyang anak na si Emperador Constantino sa Banal na Krus.

𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲
A solemn and moving Walk Procession took place from the parish church and around the town of Odiongan in commemoration of the Passion of Christ. With hearts full of devotion, the faithful joined in prayer, led by procession leaders reciting the Holy Rosary. Sacred images of saints—beautifully adorned with radiant lights and fresh floral decorations—graced the streets, drawing awe and reverence from the community.
This year, two notable images stood out:
- La Jumenta, a new addition to the procession, lovingly taken care of by Mr. & Mrs. Lito Orlanes & Family, and
- Nazareno, not a new entry, but now represented in a larger and more striking form, under the care of Mr. & Mrs. Mart Clarence Mangao & Family.
Adding to the solemnity and grandeur of the event, the image of Santo Entierro was accompanied by a live band, deepening the atmosphere of reflection and reverence.
Indeed, it was an evening of faith, tradition, and spiritual unity that touched the hearts of many.

𝐄𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐕𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐥 | 𝐁𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓
The Easter Vigil began with the Blessing of the New Fire, held solemnly outside the parish grounds, symbolizing the light of Christ rising in glory. The Paschal Candle was lit and carried into the darkened church, leading the faithful from darkness into light.
As the choir joyfully sang "Papuri sa Diyos," the entire church was illuminated - signaling the triumphant celebration of the Risen Christ. At this sacred moment, youth volunteers reverently prepared the sanctuary by laying down the Altar Cloth, lighting the Altar Candles, and arranging the Floral Decorations, beautifully transforming the space into a radiant symbol of new life.
Another moving part of the liturgy was the Lighting of Candles for the Renewal of Baptismal Promises, as parishioners held their own lighted candles - renewing their faith and commitment as children of the Resurrection.
Special thanks to Rev. Fr. Marc Julius R. Ambulo for leading and facilitating this deeply meaningful celebration.

𝐄𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲 | 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐛𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓
The celebration of the Risen Christ began with the traditional Salubong, a symbolic reenactment of the joyful meeting between the Risen Jesus and the Blessed Mother. The early morning was filled with awe and devotion, made even more special by the presence of children as singing angels, who beautifully led the hymns of Alleluia and praise led by Lourdes Marie T. Roldan.
Following the Salubong, the First Easter Mass was celebrated with hearts full of joy and renewed faith. Parishioners once again lit their own candles for the Renewal of Baptismal Promises, continuing the Easter message of rebirth and hope.
He is Risen, indeed - Alleluia!
