Weaving Names into Prayer

Definition of "Mentioning": Speaking someone's name aloud to God, recalling their situation, or thanking God for them.

Paul frequently mentioned specific people or churches (Timothy, Philemon, Ephesians) in his prayers.

Philemon 1:4

I thank my God, making mention of thee always in my prayers

Romans 1:9
For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers;

Ephesians 1:16
Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;

Pray for your friends and family.
Pray for your pastor and his family.
Pray for your church.
Let us pray for one another.
