With grateful hearts, we extend our sincere thanks to our BPC Chair, Ma’am Bhibeth Tabayag, and our Vice Chair, Ma’am Ederlinda Regondola, for their guidance, dedication, and unwavering support that made this Team Building Program meaningful and successful.

A special thank you also to our very supportive former Parish Priest of St. Michael the Archangel Parish OAS, Fr. Mamert, for joining us and sharing your presence with us. Your support and encouragement truly mean a lot.

𝗖𝗒π—₯𝗣𝗨𝗦 𝗖𝗛π—₯π—œπ—¦π—§π—œI is a Christian feast that celebrates the real presence of the body and blood of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist, also known as Holy Communion. The name β€œCorpus Christi” is Latin for β€œBody of Christ.” This solemnity is primarily observed in the Roman Catholic Church but is also celebrated in some Anglican, Lutheran, and other Christian traditions. The feast was established in the 13th century after a vision experienced by Saint Juliana of LiΓ¨ge, who promoted the idea of a special feast day to honor the Blessed Sacrament. It was officially instituted by Pope Urban IV in 1264.

Corpus Christi is typically celebrated on the Thursday after Trinity Sunday, although in many countries, it is moved to the following Sunday for wider participation. The celebration often includes a special Mass followed by a Eucharistic procession through the streets, where the consecrated hostβ€”the actual Body of Christ, according to Catholic beliefβ€”is carried in a monstrance under a canopy.
