The SNS Community joyfully greets our beloved Rector, Rev. Fr. Val N. Nalangan, a blessed and meaningful birthday.

Since August 15, 2021, Father Val has faithfully served as the Rector of Sto. Niño Seminary, guiding and forming seminarians with wisdom, discipline, and fatherly care. Through the years, he has dedicated much of his life to the service of God and His people, becoming a living witness of faithful priesthood and humble leadership.

May this special day be a joyful thanksgiving for the gift of your life and priestly vocation. May the Lord continue to strengthen you with courage, fill you with pastoral charity, and guide your ministry so that many may encounter Christ through your service.

Let us entrust our country to God’s loving providence, asking for protection, healing, and hope for every Filipino family.

In a special way, we also thank Mama Mary, our Blessed Mother, for continually guiding us closer to her Son, Jesus.

With joyful hearts, we warmly welcome and congratulate Most Rev. Cyril B. Villareal, D.D., who has now been ordained and installed as the 5th Bishop of the Diocese of Kalibo, marking a new chapter of faith, unity, and leadership for the local Church.

The sacred celebration of his Episcopal Ordination and Solemn Installation took place at the St. John the Baptist Cathedral, with Victor Bendico serving as the principal consecrator, joined by Jose Corazon Tala-oc and Narciso Abellana as co-consecrators. The homily was delivered by Jose F. Cardinal Advincula Jr..

As he begins his ministry among us, we entrust him to God’s grace, praying that he may shepherd the faithful with wisdom, humility, and a heart after Christ.
