You ever notice how kids act like they own everything their parents worked for?

They’ll play outside under the blazing heat, no care in the world. They’re not worried about their skin tone, their energy, or their next meal. They just live.

And when they open the refrigerator? They don’t hesitate. They don’t think, “May laman kaya?” They just open it... confident that something good is waiting inside.

But the moment we grow up, something changes. We start thinking like adults. We stop trusting like children. We open the same refrigerator, but now we check the bill first. We say, “Baka lumaki kuryente.” We become careful, calculating, cautious... and we call it maturity.

But maybe, just maybe, it’s not maturity. Maybe it’s fear wearing a grown-up face.

Jesus said in Matthew 18:3,

“Unless you become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.”

That wasn’t about immaturity... it was about trust. Because children don’t have money, but they have faith. They don’t have plans, but they have parents.

And God is saying to some of us today:

“You’ve grown up so much you forgot how to trust Me.”

You’ve learned how to work, but you’ve forgotten how to rest.
You’ve learned how to plan, but you’ve forgotten how to pray.
You’ve learned how to calculate the bill, but you’ve forgotten Who paid the price.

So maybe faith isn’t about understanding everything. Maybe faith is opening the refrigerator of life and saying, “I don’t know what’s in here, but I trust my Father’s got something prepared.”

STOP LIVING LIKE AN ADULT IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD. START TRUSTING LIKE A CHILD AGAIN.
