O LAND, LAND, LAND HEAR THE WORD OF THE LORD.

𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙨𝙝𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙬𝙚 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙧 𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙣 𝙬𝙚 𝙡𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙣 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙙 𝙤𝙛 𝙂𝙤𝙙?
1. GOD’S WORD OF CONDEMNATION AGAINST SIN AND THE SINNER
Romans 3:23 — All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
John 3:18 — Those who believe in God’s only Son are not condemned, but those who do not believe are already condemned.
Romans 6:1–2 — We must not continue living in sin because we have died to sin.

2. WORD OF SALVATION
Romans 10:17 (NIV) — Faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the Word about Christ.

𝙏𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙙 𝙤𝙛 𝙂𝙤𝙙
1. WORRIES AND THE DESIRES FOR RICHES
Matthew 13:22 (NIV) — The worries of life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke the Word, making it unfruitful.

2. THE WORK OF SATAN IN STEALING AWAY THE WORD OF GOD
Matthew 13:19 (NIV) — The evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in the heart of someone who hears the message but does not understand it.
2 Corinthians 4:4 — The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers so they cannot see the light of the Gospel of Christ.

𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙪𝙡𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙧𝙚𝙛𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙤 𝙡𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙣 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙙 𝙤𝙛 𝙂𝙤𝙙
1. CONDEMNATION FOR THE SINNERS
John 12:48 (NIV) — Whoever rejects Jesus and does not accept His words will be judged by His words on the last day.

Proverbs 1:24–28 — Because people refuse to listen to God’s wisdom, disregard His advice, and reject His correction, they will face the consequences of their choices.
- They refuse to listen when God calls.
- They disregard His advice and correction.
- They face distress and calamity.
- They call for help but do not find the response they expected.

𝙏𝙝𝙚𝙮 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙘𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙢𝙚, 𝙗𝙪𝙩 𝙄 𝙒𝙄𝙇𝙇 𝙉𝙊𝙏 𝘼𝙉𝙎𝙒𝙀𝙍

2. SLOW DOWN AND PAT ATTENTION
PROVERBS 22:3 The prudent see danger and take refuge, but the simple keep going and pay the penalty.

THE PROMISE OF ENTERNAL LIFE
JOHN 5:24(ESV)
Truly, truly, I say to you, WHOEVER HEARS MY WORD AND BELIEVES HIM who sent me has ETERNAL LIFE. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐕𝐎𝐈𝐂𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐒 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐕𝐈𝐂𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐘

𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙗𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙡𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙫𝙤𝙞𝙘𝙚! (𝙈𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝)
The battle is for our voice—what we believe, speak, and stand for. Different voices in culture, media, and even the church compete to influence our beliefs, values, and identity. Whatever captures our belief will eventually influence our words and actions. Therefore, we must be discerning about which voices we listen to and agree with, because the voice we believe will shape the voice we use.

𝙔𝙚𝙖𝙧 5787 - 𝙕𝙖𝙮𝙞𝙣 "𝙔𝙚𝙖𝙧 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙎𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙙"
The prophetic theme of Zayin represents the sword, symbolizing the Word of God and spiritual authority.
- Our words carry influence in the spiritual realm, as God’s Word brought creation into being.
- Through Christ, we are empowered to speak words of life, blessing, and truth according to His Word.
- As we believe and declare God’s Word, we stand in His authority and allow His truth to shape our lives.

𝙒𝙚 𝙃𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝘼𝙪𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝘽𝙮 𝙎𝙥𝙚𝙖𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙃𝙞𝙨 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙙𝙨
Num 14:28, Heb 3:1
- We exercise our authority by speaking in agreement with God’s Word.
- The Greek word "homologia" means to confess or say the same thing—to agree with what God has spoken.
- We are called to put His Word in our mouths and declare His truth with faith. Like David, who boldly declared victory over Goliath before defeating him, we can face challenges with confidence in God and His promises.

𝙄. 𝙊𝙪𝙧 𝙑𝙤𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝘼𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝘽𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙠𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝𝙨
Romans 10:9-10 "If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus. And believe in your heart God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved..."
- Our mouth expresses the faith we believe in our hearts.
- Prophetically, Peh (the mouth) and Zayin (the sword) picture the power of speaking God’s Word with faith.
- When we believe His truth and declare it, we align our words with His promises and stand in the authority of His Word.

𝙄𝙄. 𝙒𝙖𝙧 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙏𝙬𝙤-𝙈𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙙 𝙎𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙙
Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

Matthew 18:19–20 tells us "Again I say to you that if two of you agree...." The Greek word translated "agree" is symphóneó —the English word is "symphony." It means "to sound together," we must realize agreement creates a unified sound that penetrates the kingdom of heaven and shifts things in the earth.

𝙄𝙄𝙄. 𝙃𝙤𝙬 𝙩𝙤 𝙒𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙑𝙤𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙒𝙖𝙧
𝘼. 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙧𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙫𝙤𝙞𝙘𝙚: 𝘿𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙣𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙫𝙤𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙂𝙤𝙙
- "My sheep hear My voice" (John 10:27 NKJV).
- Before we speak, we must hear, God's voice above fear, accusation, political noise, religious spirit and opposing words.

𝘽. 𝙒𝙚 𝙢𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙗𝙚 𝙘𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙛𝙪𝙡 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙨 𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙢𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝𝙨!
- Guard your mouth: "Death and life are in the power of the tongue" (Proverbs 18:21 NKJV).
- Matthew 12:36–37 36 But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken. 37 For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.”
- Jesus teaches that people will give an account for their careless words.

𝘾. 𝙊𝙪𝙧 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙙𝙨 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙 𝙗𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙤𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙨
- Ephesians 4:29 (KJV) “Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.”
- God wants our words to build others up rather than corrupt, humiliate, or discourage them.

𝘿. 𝙉𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙨𝙖𝙮. 𝙎𝙢𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙙𝙨 𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙚 𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙚𝙦𝙪𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙨.
- God wants us to use our mouths wisely because our words have consequences and after effects.
- Proverbs 18:21 (KJV) “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.”

Our words can:
- Give life — encourage someone who feels hopeless.
- Bring healing — comfort someone who is hurting.
- Destroy faith and trust— through insults, curses, and constant criticism.

𝙀. 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙢𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝 𝙧𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙨 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙨
- Luke 6:45 (NKJV) “For of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.”
- Jesus teaches that our words reveal what is happening inside us.
- If our hearts are full of bitterness, anger, hatred, lies those things may come out through our speech. If our hearts are filled with love, wisdom, grace and truth, these qualities can also be heard in our words.
- To change our speaking or speech, we must also allow God, the Holy spirit to transform our hearts.

𝙄 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙫𝙤𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙇𝙤𝙧𝙙 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙄 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙖𝙠 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙃𝙚 𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙖𝙠𝙨!

I will bless and not curse. I will speak hope and not despair. I will speak faith and not fear. I will speak life and not death.

In 5787, I will hear the right voice, guard my mouth, put the Sword in my mouth, come into agreement with Heaven, and release the sound of victory. I will speak life and truth. I will declare His promises And by the grace and authority of Jesus Christ, I will win the voice war! In Jesus' mighty name, amen!

The High Priest → Foreshadows Jesus, our Great High Priest, who entered the heavenly sanctuary and accomplished eternal redemption. (Hebrews 9:11–12)

The Two Goats → Point to Jesus’ complete work of atonement:
Sacrificial Goat – represents the offering for sin.
Scapegoat – represents the bearing and carrying away of sin.
(Isaiah 53:4–9; Hebrews 2:9)

Yom Kippur points us to Jesus—the perfect High Priest and the One who bears our sin, bringing atonement and reconciliation with God.

Sukkah (singular) – a temporary shelter or structure, traditionally covered with branches; also called a booth or tabernacle.
Sukkot (plural) – temporary shelters, booths, or tabernacles.

Ganito sila noon...
God was with them in the wilderness, protecting and guiding them every day.

Ganito na sila ngayon...
The sukkah reminds them of God’s protection and presence with their ancestors during Moses’ time.

𝙎𝙪𝙠𝙠𝙤𝙩 / 𝙏𝙖𝙗𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙘𝙡𝙚𝙨
THE PAST — Remember
Remember God’s abiding presence and glory with Israel in the wilderness.
THE PRESENT — Abide
Celebrate the incarnation of Jesus Christ and abide in the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit, as we are temples of the living God.
THE FUTURE — Rejoice
Look forward with joy to the second coming of Christ, the Wedding Feast, and the day when all nations will worship the Lord.

Sukkot points to a future celebration when God will dwell with His people forever.

The Chuppah
Like the sukkah, the chuppah is a temporary covering or canopy symbolizing a home, covenant, and intimate fellowship.
It points to a time of great rejoicing, when Christ and His people will celebrate together in the fullness of God’s presence.

Sukkot points to the ultimate fulfillment—when God makes all things new and dwells with His people forever.
