Happy Feast Day of St. Dominic!
Today, we honor St. Dominic de Guzmán (1170–1221), founder of the Order of Preachers, whose life was marked by deep prayer, love for the poor, and devotion to the Holy Rosary. God worked many wonders through him—multiplying food for his hungry brothers, bringing the dead back to life, and healing the sick through his prayers. His mission of preaching the truth continues to inspire us to live in faith, hope, and charity.

Viva Santo Domingo! Ave Maria! Vivat Jesus!

Celebrating Unity and Devotion: Our Lady of Lay Dominican Fraternity's Momentous Ceremony

In a vibrant display of faith and community spirit, the Our Lady of Lay Dominican Fraternity recently gathered for a momentous occasion that showcased the power of unity and devotion.

On May 18, 2024, at 9:00 am, members of the fraternity converged to partake in a Holy Mass intertwined seamlessly with a profound Profession Ceremony. Led by the esteemed Director, Rev. Fr. Roger C. The Ceremony was beautifully facilitated by Dr. Erlinda V. Garcia, OP, President of the La Naval Chapter, along with the Provincial President, Dr. Eugene delos Santos, OP, infusing the proceedings with grace and reverence.

Mrs. Myrna S. Jalen, OP, chaired the celebration with Mr. Ronaldo F. Doroteo, ensuring its smooth flow and success. Also present were esteemed community members such as Dr. John Eric Marayag, OP, Mr. Neo Hernandez, OP, and Mr. Oliver David, adding to the solemnity of the occasion.

The fraternity joyously congratulates the following members on their dedication and commitment:

Arturo C. Mazo, OP - Perpetually Professed
Raul S. Gana, OP - Temporary Profess II
Aries Norby M. Quirong, OP - Temporary Profess II

As we reflect on this joyous event, let us give thanks for the blessings bestowed upon us and renew our commitment to living out the values of our beloved fraternity with joy and zeal.
