It's possible to be busy doing God's work...
without taking time to be with God.

We can serve in ministry.
Lead a Bible study.
Sing in worship.
Volunteer every week.
Even know the Scriptures well.

Yet, in the middle of all our serving, we can slowly neglect the One we're serving.

God isn't looking for people who are merely active for Him.

He desires people who truly know Him,
walk with Him,
and belong to Him.

Before God calls us to do His work,
He first calls us to Himself.

Because ministry without intimacy
will eventually become performance.

But when our service flows from a genuine relationship with Christ,
it becomes worship.

May we never settle for being busy for Jesus,
while neglecting to be with Jesus.

This week, don't just ask,

"What can I do for God?"

Ask,

"Am I walking closely with the God I serve?"

21 "Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ 23 And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’ (Matthew 7:21-23)

In this rainy season, a simple fellowship with a warm cup of coffee can become a place where God works in extraordinary ways. As we gather, may our conversations be filled with grace. Words that build each other up and reflect the love of Christ Jesus.

May we always choose words that strengthen the weary, comfort the hurting, encourage the discouraged, and lead one another closer to Jesus. Let every conversation be an opportunity to glorify His name.

Ephesians 4:29 Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear. 🤎☕️

We often ask God to reveal the whole journey.

But more often than not, He simply gives us enough light for the next step.

When the path ahead feels uncertain, don't be discouraged by what you can't see. Trust the One who sees the end from the beginning.

Walk in today's obedience, and leave tomorrow in God's hands.

"Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." — Psalm 119:105

One faithful step at a time.

A life without God's Word is easily consumed by distractions, comfort, and endless busyness.

When our eyes are no longer fixed on Christ, we begin living according to whatever seems right in the moment.

But God has not left us to navigate life by our own wisdom. Through His Word, He reveals His character, exposes our hearts, renews our minds, directs our steps, and continually points us back to Christ.

Open the Scriptures daily, not as a religious obligation, but as a daily communion with the living God who speaks, leads, and transforms His people.

As Jesus Himself declared:

"Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God." Matthew 4:4

Feed your soul with the only bread that truly gives life.
