"ACKNOWLEDGE HIM"
Kawikaan 3:6
Sa lahat ng iyong gawain siya nga'y alalahanin, upang ika'y patnubayan sa iyong mga tatahakin.
Proverbs 3:6
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He will make your paths straight.

Sa lahat ba ng gagawin natin o desisyon na gagawin natin sa ating buhay ay isinasama natin SI LORD? Bago ba natin gawin ang mga ito ay kumukunsulta o pinagpepray ba muna natin ito Kay LORD tapos kung ano ang sagot NIYA iyon ang susundin natin? Kung hindi ay huwag na tayong magtaka kung bakit tayo ay naliligaw ng landas dahil sa mga pinaggagawa natin. Kasi ayaw nating isama SI LORD dun, ayaw natin ng gabay NIYA, kung minsan pa nga ay ang tingin natin ay hadlang SIYA kaya hindi na tayo kumukunsulta sa KANYA o baka naman kasi alam na nating mali o against sa will NIYA ay tinutuloy pa rin natin. Dapat sa lahat ng gawain o plano natin sa ating buhay alalahanin o isama natin SI LORD doon dahil napakahalaga ng gabay NIYA at dahil doon tama ang landas na ating lalakaran at hindi tayo mapapahamak o malalayo sa KANYA. SI LORD ang gawin nating consultant. Napakahalaga na sa bawat nangyayari sa buhay natin ay naaayon sa kalooban NIYA. Para sa bandang huli ay wala tayong pagsisihan at dahil lahat ng gusto NIYA para sa atin ay para sa ikabubuti natin.

"WHO INFLUENCE US THE MOST"
TEXT: Mark 5:21-24, 35-43
v.21 When Jesus had again crossed over by boat to the other side of the lake, a large crowd gathered around him while he was by the lake. v.22 Then one of the synagogue leaders, named Jairus, came, and when he saw Jesus, he fell at his feet. v.23 He pleaded earnestly with him, “My little daughter is dying. Please come and put your hands on her so that she will be healed and live.” v.24 So Jesus went with him. A large crowd followed and pressed around him.
v.35 While Jesus was still speaking, some people came from the house of Jairus, the synagogue leader. “Your daughter is dead,” they said. “Why bother the teacher anymore?” v.36 Overhearing what they said, Jesus told him, “Don’t be afraid; just believe.” v.37 He did not let anyone follow him except Peter, James and John the brother of James. v.38 When they came to the home of the synagogue leader, Jesus saw a commotion, with people crying and wailing loudly. v.39 He went in and said to them, “Why all this commotion and wailing? The child is not dead but asleep.” v.40 But they laughed at him. After he put them all out, he took the child’s father and mother and the disciples who were with him, and went in where the child was. v.41 He took her by the hand and said to her, “Talitha koum!” (which means “Little girl, I say to you, get up!”). v.42 Immediately the girl stood up and began to walk around (she was twelve years old). At this they were completely astonished. v.43 He gave strict orders not to let anyone know about this, and told them to give her something to eat.

POINTS:

- Mag ingat po tayo sa mga nakakasama natin, pinapakinggan natin, pinapanood natin o sinusundan natin, lagi tayong magbantay!
- Kung hindi tayo magiging maingat hindi natin maiingatan ang iba!
- Maaari natin silang maipahamak!
- Sino ba ang higit na nakakaimpluwensya o nakaka apekto ng buhay mo?

I. THE INFLUENCE FROM OUR PARENTS v.21-24
v.21 When Jesus had again crossed over by boat to the other side of the lake, A LARGE CROWD GATHERED AROUND HIM WHILE HE WAS BY THE LAKE. v.22 Then ONE OF THE SYNAGOGUE LEADERS, named JAIRUS, came, and when HE SAW JESUS, he FELL AT HIS FEET. v.23 He PLEADED EARNESTLY with him, “MY LITTLE DAUGHTER IS DYING. PLEASE COME and PUT YOUR HANDS ON HER so that SHE WILL BE HEALED and LIVE.” v.24 SO JESUS WENT WITH HIM. A large crowd followed and pressed around him.

II. THE INFLUENCE FROM OUR SOCIETY v.35-40
v.35 While Jesus was still speaking, SOME PEOPLE CAME FROM THE HOUSE OF JAIRUS, the synagogue leader. “YOUR DAUGHTER IS DEAD,” they said. “WHY BOTHER THE TEACHER ANYMORE?” v.36 OVERHEARING WHAT THEY SAID, JESUS TOLD HIM, “DON'T BE AFRAID; JUST BELIEVE.” v.37 HE DID NOT LET ANYONE FOLLOW HIM except Peter, James and John the brother of James. v.38 WHEN THEY CAME TO THE HOME of the synagogue leader, JESUS SAW A COMMOTION, with PEOPLE CRYING and WAILING LOUDLY. v.39 HE WENT IN AND SAID to them, “WHY all this COMMOTION and WAILING? The CHILD IS NOT DEAD BUT ASLEEP.” v.40 BUT THEY LAUGHED AT HIM. After he put them all out, he took the child’s father and mother and the disciples who were with him, and went in where the child was.

III. THE INFLUENCE FROM CHRIST v.41-43
v.40 But they laughed at him. AFTER HE PUT THEM ALL OUT, HE TOOK THE CHILD'S FATHER AND MOTHER and the DISCIPLES WHO WERE WITH HIM, and WENT IN WHERE THE CHILD WAS. v.41 HE TOOK HER BY THE HAND and SAID TO HER, “TALITHA KOUM!” (which means “Little girl, I SAY TO YOU, GET UP!”). v.42 IMMEDIATELY THE GIRL STOOD UP and BEGAN to WALK AROUND (she was twelve years old). AT THIS THEY WERE COMPLETELY ASTONISHED. v.43 HE GAVE STRICT ORDERS NOT TO LET ANYONE KNOW ABOUT THIS, and TOLD THEM TO GIVE HER SOMETHING TO EAT.

“YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE”
Ecclesiastes 11:9
“You who are young, be happy while you are young, and let your heart give you joy in the days of your youth. Follow the ways of your heart and whatever your eyes see, but know that for all these things GOD will bring you into judgment”

Kumusta Conquerors! Sana ay nasa maayos kayong kalagayan. Hindi na bago sa ating pandinig ang salitang YOLO o You Only Live Once. Isa itong kataga na naging kasabihan ng maraming tao sa mundo. Minsan lamang tayo mabubuhay, ang iba ay inilalaan ito sa iba’t ibang interes. Pero meron nang reminder na ibinigay sa atin SI GOD. In Ecclesiastes 11:9 “You who are young, be happy while you are young, and let your heart give you joy in the days of your youth. Follow the ways of your heart and whatever your eyes see, but know that for all these things God will bring you into judgment”. GOD is telling us na everything we do ay may consequences. Mabuti man ito o hindi, lagi tayong nakikita NI GOD. Let’s always choose what makes GOD happy. Tandaan natin na hindi dahil uso o ginagawa ng karamihan ay tama at ikakasaya NG DIYOS. We only live once, but if we do it right once is enough. GOD bless Conquerors!

Text: 1 Timothy 4:1-16
v.1 The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. v.2 Such teachings come through hypocritical liars, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron. v.3 They forbid people to marry and order them to abstain from certain foods, which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and who know the truth. v.4 For everything God created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, v.5 because it is consecrated by the word of God and prayer. v.6 If you point these things out to the brothers and sisters, you will be a good minister of Christ Jesus, nourished on the truths of the faith and of the good teaching that you have followed. v.7 Have nothing to do with godless myths and old wives’ tales; rather, train yourself to be godly. v.8 For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come. v.9 This is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance. v.10 That is why we labor and strive, because we have put our hope in the living God, who is the Savior of all people, and especially of those who believe. v.11 Command and teach these things. v.12 Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity. v.13 Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to preaching and to teaching. v.14 Do not neglect your gift, which was given you through prophecy when the body of elders laid their hands on you. v.15 Be diligent in these matters; give yourself wholly to them, so that everyone may see your progress. v.16 Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers.

We Must Set an Example!

I. THROUGH SPEECH
v.12 Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers IN SPEECH, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.

II. THROUGH STAND OUT ATTITUDE
v.12 Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, IN CONDUCT, in love, in faith and in purity.

III. THROUGH SENSE OF AFFECTION
v.12 Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, IN LOVE, in faith and in purity.

IV. THROUGH STRONG BELIEF v.12
v.12 Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, IN FAITH and in purity.

V. THROUGH SANCTITY
v.12 Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and IN PURITY.

CONCLUSION:
v.13 Until I come, DEVOTE YOURSELF to the PUBLIC READING OF SCRIPTURE, to PREACHING and to TEACHING. v.14 DO NOT NEGLECT YOUR GIFT, which was given you through prophecy when the body of elders laid their hands on you. v.15 Be diligent in these matters; GIVE YOURSELF WHOLLY TO THEM, so that EVERYONE MAY SEE YOUR PROGRESS. v.16 WATCH your LIFE and DOCTRINE closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, YOU WILL SAVE both YOURSELF and your HEARERS.

"FAITH IN GOD"
Awit 31:24
O magpakatatag ang mga nilikha, lahat ng kay YAHWEH ay nagtitiwala!

Marami tayong mga karanasan sa ating buhay. Hindi laging kasiyahan at kaluwagan ang ating dinadanas, nakakaranas din tayo ng kalungkutan, kagipitan, kahirapan at mga pagsubok. Gayunpaman hindi dapat tayo agad-agad sumuko sa hamon ng ating mga buhay. Sabi sa (Awit 31:34) "O magpakatatag ang mga nilikha, lahat ng kay YAHWEH ay nagtitiwala!" Dahil tayo'y mula sa DIYOS, maging malinaw sa atin na hanggat tayoy nabubuhay ay maroon tayong pag-asa, at ang pag-asa nating iyon ay nagmumula sa ating DIYOS na lumikha sa atin. Tayo'y magpakatatag sapagkat ang DIYOS na meron tayo ay tapat sa kanyang mga pangako, sya ang ating kalakasan, sa KANYA nagmumula lahat ng meron tayo, siya ang ating PANGINOON na puno ng Pag-ibig hindi nagtatanim ng galit, walang pinababayaan, at walang iniiwan, ganyan kabuti ang ating DIYOS kaya tayo'y nagiging matatag sa pagtitiwala natin sa kanya. Manampalataya tayo sa ating DIYOS at magtiwala dahil ang buhay na mayroong pagtitiwala sa PANGINOON ay matatag at hindi masisira.

TITLE: "INCOMPARABLE INFLUENCE"
TEXT: 1 Corinthians 4:14-21
v.14 I am writing this not to shame you but to warn you as my dear children. v.15 Even if you had ten thousand guardians in Christ, you do not have many fathers, for in Christ Jesus I became your father through the gospel. v.16 Therefore I urge you to imitate me. v.17 For this reason I have sent to you Timothy, my son whom I love, who is faithful in the Lord. He will remind you of my way of life in Christ Jesus, which agrees with what I teach everywhere in every church. v.18 Some of you have become arrogant, as if I were not coming to you. v.19 But I will come to you very soon, if the Lord is willing, and then I will find out not only how these arrogant people are talking, but what power they have. v.20 For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power. v.21 What do you prefer? Shall I come to you with a rod of discipline, or shall I come in love and with a gentle spirit?

INFLUENCE- power, pressure, authority, control.

I. INCOMPARABLE MENTOR v.14-16
v.14 I am writing this not to shame you but TO WARN YOU as my DEAR CHILDREN. v.15 Even if you HAD TEN THOUSAND GUARDIANS in Christ, you do not have many fathers, for in Christ Jesus I became your FATHER through the gospel. v.16 Therefore I URGE YOU TO IMITATE ME.

II. INCOMPARABLE MENTEE v.17
v.17 For this reason I have SENT to you TIMOTHY, MY SON whom I LOVE, who is FAITHFUL in the Lord. He will REMIND YOU OF MY WAY OF LIFE IN CHRIST JESUS, which AGREES WITH WHAT I TEACH EVERYWHERE in every church.

III. INCOMPARABLE MANIFESTATION v.18-21
v.18 SOME OF YOU HAVE BECOME ARROGANT, as if I were not coming to you. v.19 BUT I WILL COME TO YOU VERY SOON, if the Lord is willing, and then I will find out not only how these arrogant people are talking, BUT WHAT POWER THEY HAVE. v.20 For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk BUT OF POWER. v.21 What do you prefer? Shall I come to you with a ROD OF DISCIPLINE, or shall I come IN LOVE and with a GENTLE SPIRIT?
