On August 23, the Ministry of Altar Servers of Christ the King Parish, Project 7, gathered with parents and guardians for a meeting focused on the upcoming Retreat/Recollection and other ministry activities.

The meeting also provided an opportunity to discuss important agendas, address concerns, and hear suggestions from our guardians as we prepare for the activities ahead.

It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved parish secretary, Ate Rita Daigon, who was called to eternal rest yesterday morning.

We will deeply miss her warm smile, kindness, and faithful dedication in serving the Church and our parish community. Her life touched many, and her presence will always remain in our hearts.

We humbly ask everyone to keep Ate Rita and her family in your prayers during this difficult time.

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Today, we celebrate the 40th People Power Anniversary.

To worship in spirit and truth is to live out the paths of peace, truth, and love. As we remember our hard-won freedom, may we remain stewards of our common home, free from the chains of corruption and guided by the Lord of justice and peace.

Through the intercession of Mary, Queen of Peace, may we always strive for the good of our nation.

PAGTATALAGA KAY MARIA, REYNA NG KAPAYAPAAN
Mahal naming Ina, Reyna ng Kapayapaan,
lumalapit kami sa iyo ngayon upang hilingin ang iyong proteksyon
at ipagkakatiwala ang aming minamahal na bansa sa iyong pangangalaga.
Masdan mo ang mga Pilipino, at sa iyong makainang pagkalinga
gabayan mo kami sa mga landas ng kapayapaan, katotohanan, at pag-ibig.

Kami’y naligaw palayo sa landas ng kapayapaan.
Nakalimutan namin ang mga natutunang aral
mula sa mga trahedya ng digmaan.
Ipinagkanulo namin ang pangarap tungo sa kapayapaan
at ang pag-asa ng mga kabataan.
Nanghina kami dahil sa kasakiman,
inisip lamang ang aming sariling interes,
kami’y naging walang malasakit at nahulog
sa aming makasariling pangangailangan at alalahanin.
Pinili naming isantabi ang Diyos,
maging contento sa aming mga ilusyon,
naging mapagmataas at agresibo,
kinikitil ang mga inosenteng buhay at nag-iimbak ng mga armas.
Tinalikuran namin ang pagiging tagapangalaga ng aming kapwa
at tagapangasiwa ng kalikasan.
Nilusob namin ang hardin ng mundo sa pamamagitan ng digmaan
at sa aming mga kasalanan
ay sinugatan namin ang puso ng aming Amang Makalangit,
na nagnanais na kami’y magturingang magkakapatid.

Tala ng Karagatan,
huwag kaming pahintulutang mapahamak
sa bagyong dulot ng digmaan.
Arko ng Bagong Tipan,
akayin mo kami sa landas ng pagkakasundo.
Reyna ng Kapayapaan, ipagkaloob mo ang kapayapaan sa aming mundo.

O Maawaing Birhen, Ina ng sangkatauhan,
tingnan mo kami at ang mga namumuno sa amin.
Aliwin ang mga tumatangis, ang mga nagdurusa,
ang mga naghihirap dahil sa kawalang-katarungan.
Patatagin ang mga nag-aalinlangan sa bigat ng kanilang pagsisikap
at ang mga tila wala nang pag-asang tinatanaw.
Hikayatin ang mga nagsisikap upang bumuo ng mas magandang mundo
kung saan maghahari ang katarungan
at mapapawi ang kasakiman, galit, at karahasan.

Ina ng Awa, Tala ng Pag-asa,
ang aming buhay at kagalakan,
kami’y nagpapasalamat at patuloy na nag-aalay ng aming buhay,
tiyak na hindi mo kami pababayaan,
lalo na sa madilim at mahirap na mga sandali ng buhay.
Samahan mo kami palagi, ngayon at sa oras ng aming kamatayan. Amen.
