Niining kapistahan ni Señor Santo Niño, kitang tanan mahimasa unta sa Batang Hesus—nga kabalo makig-uyon sa atong Diyos, sa atong isigkatawo, ug sa dagan sa panahon. Sa kalibutan nga dili tanang tawo, dili tanang sitwasyon, ug dili tanang higayon mouyon sa atong gusto, gipahinumdoman kita nga ang tinuod nga pagtoo makita sa pagpaubos, pagsalig, ug gugma.

Ang Batang Hesus nagtudlo kanato nga ang pagkabata sa espiritu mao ang dalan paingon sa kahulugan sa kinabuhi. “𝙒𝙚 𝙙𝙤𝙣’𝙩 𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙗𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙚 𝙨𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙚𝙡𝙨𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙆𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙙𝙤𝙢 𝙤𝙛 𝙂𝙤𝙙. Misa de Gallo is a cherished Catholic tradition celebrated during the nine days before Christmas. Offered at dawn, it invites the faithful to walk in prayerful anticipation of the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. Each early morning Mass reminds us of hope, sacrifice, and joyful waiting—teaching us that love is worth rising early for.

As Misa de Gallo begins, we warmly invite everyone to take part in this beautiful journey of faith. Let us set aside time from our busy days, gather as one community, and prepare our hearts to welcome Christ into our lives.

"𝑷𝒓𝒆𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒊𝒔 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒐𝒏𝒍𝒚 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒔𝒑𝒆𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒍 𝒐𝒄𝒄𝒂𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏, 𝒊𝒕 𝒉𝒂𝒔 𝒕𝒐 𝒃𝒆 𝒅𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚 𝒅𝒂𝒚".

On this First Sunday of Advent, we are called to prepare our hearts for the coming of Christ—not just occasionally, but as a daily, spiritual readiness.

Today’s Gospel reminds us: "𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲, 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗸𝗲, 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗼 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗟𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲" (𝘔𝘵 24:42). Like the days of Noah, we are invited to live in vigilance, not complacency, and to cultivate a life of faith, hope, and charity every day. Advent is not merely about external preparation for Christmas, but an interior journey of conversion ; opening our hearts to God through prayer, reflection on His Word, and acts of love.

It reminds us that we are called to live in a spirit of watchfulness for we do not know the day nor the hour, embracing a daily conversion so that Christ may find us ready when He comes, both in His Nativity and at the end of time.

Atol sa panahon sa Adbiyento, ang mga Kristohanon sa tibuok kalibotan nagtutok sa pagpangandam alang sa pag-abot ni Hesu-Kristo, sa iyang unang pag-abot isip Mesiyas ug sa iyang ikaduhang pagbalik sa katapusang panahon.

Sa pagsugod sa bag-ong tuig liturhikal, gidasig kita sa Simbahan nga mobukas pag-usab sa atong kasingkasing aron madawat ang kahayag ug grasya sa Ginoo—kaniadto, karon, ug sa umaabot.

In celebrating the Solemnity of Christ the King, we are reminded that Jesus Christ’s kingship is not of this world; His kingship transcends to this world. His kingship is about His relationship with all of us. So if we do not acknowledge God as our King, then automatically there is no relationship between us and Him. His reign is rooted in His relationship with us, His people. He is God not because He has power; He is King not because He has ability. He is God and King because He has formed a relationship with us, His people.

‎God has already given us the grace we need to resist the devil. Therefore, let us strive to choose the Lord always rather than the devil. Let our words and actions reflect His grace and goodness. Let us strive to remain in the holy presence of our Lord. May we all, in our lives, work to have a good relationship with our Creator.
‎
‎And if He is the King of your life, choose Him; if He is the King of your life, worship Him. And if He is the King of your life, trust that His grace is enough and will sustain you. May we choose Christ the King; may we choose the heavenly life.
