Saint Anthony of Padua, intercede for us this Tuesday.

This short prayer carries a profound sense of comfort and trust for every believer. Saint Anthony is among the most cherished saints in the Church—not only because of the countless miracles attributed to his intercession, but because of the simplicity and holiness that marked his life. Rooted in humility, wisdom, and deep love for Christ, he continues to inspire the faithful. When we seek his intercession, we are doing more than repeating a devotion; we are entrusting our intentions to someone who dedicated his life to guiding others back to God.

Over time, Tuesdays have become especially linked with devotion to Saint Anthony. Many faithful mark this day with prayers, lighting of candles, or acts of charity, confident in his powerful help from heaven. Beyond tradition, however, this practice gently invites us to slow down amid the demands of the week and return our focus to God. It becomes a moment of reflection—asking ourselves what we may have “lost” in our spiritual journey: peace, patience, clarity, or closeness with the Lord.

Though he is widely known as the “finder of lost things,” Saint Anthony’s intercession reaches far deeper than material concerns. He helps us rediscover what is truly essential: a faithful prayer life, a forgiving spirit, and a renewed sense of direction. In a world filled with noise and distraction, his example calls us back to simplicity and attentiveness to God’s voice.

As we live out this Tuesday, invoking his intercession reminds us that we are never alone. In moments of struggle, he strengthens our perseverance. In confusion, he points us toward truth. In weakness, he leads us back to grace. His life witnesses that holiness is not only found in grand gestures, but in daily faithfulness to God.

Thus, this prayer becomes more than words—it becomes a quiet act of surrender: “Lord, through Saint Anthony, guide me today. Help me rediscover what I truly need—You.” 🙏

[ May 24, 2026]

May 25 — BEGIN MONDAY WITH GOD

As a new week begins, the Church also enters once again into the sacred season of Ordinary Time — a season that reminds us that holiness is found not only in grand celebrations, but also in the ordinary moments of everyday life.

Begin this Monday with God at the center of your heart. Before the noise of the world fills your mind, allow the voice of the Lord to guide your day. Offer Him your plans, your worries, your work, your studies, your struggles, and even the silent battles you carry within. When we begin the day with God, we begin with peace, purpose, and grace.

After celebrating the fire of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost, we are now called to live our faith daily. Ordinary Time is not a pause from holiness; it is where holiness is practiced most. In the simple routines of life — in kindness, patience, forgiveness, prayer, sacrifice, and love — God continues to form us into faithful disciples.

No matter what this week may bring, remember that the Lord walks before you. He strengthens the weary, comforts the anxious, and renews those who place their trust in Him. Every Monday is another reminder that God is giving us a fresh start, another chance to grow, and another opportunity to become closer to Him.

So today, do not begin with fear.
Do not begin with doubt.
Begin with faith.
Begin with hope.
Begin with God.

[May 24, 2026]

📖 St. Bede, Patron Saint of Lectors, pray for us! 🙏✨

PENTECOST SUNDAY MARKS THE BIRTHDAY OF THE CHURCH

Pentecost marks the birthday of the Church because it is on this day that Pentecost descended upon the Apostles, transforming them from fearful followers into bold proclaimers of the Gospel.

Before Pentecost, the disciples were hidden in fear after the crucifixion of Jesus. But when the Holy Spirit came upon them like a rushing wind and tongues of fire, everything changed. They were filled with courage, wisdom, and power to go out and preach Christ to all nations.

This moment is considered the “birth” of the Church because it was the beginning of its public mission — the moment the Gospel was no longer kept in a small room but was proclaimed to the whole world.

From that day onward, the Church became alive and active, guided not by human strength alone, but by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Pentecost reminds us that the Church is not just a human institution, but a living body continually renewed by God’s Spirit. And just as the first disciples were strengthened, we too are called to be renewed, empowered, and sent forth today.

Come, Holy Spirit—renew Your Church and renew our hearts. 🕊️

𝗠𝗔𝗬 𝟭𝟵, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 | 𝗧𝗢𝗗𝗔𝗬’𝗦 𝗚𝗢𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗟

Today’s Gospel reminds us that true glory is not found in fame, praise, or the things of this world, but in living according to God’s will. Jesus showed His glory through love, sacrifice, and obedience to the Father, even through suffering on the Cross. He also prayed for us—that we may remain faithful and become one with Him. This Gospel invites us to stop chasing temporary happiness and instead seek the eternal joy that comes from knowing and following God. Through simple acts of love, humility, and faithfulness, we slowly share in the glory of Christ that lasts forever.

Usa ka panaw nga puno sa pagpangita, pag-ila sa kaugalingon, ug pagduol sa Ginoo ang nasinati sa mga kabatan-onan sa 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶-𝗗𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗕𝗶𝗿𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘀𝗮 𝗞𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗸. 🌿

Padayon sa paglakaw uban sa pagtuo ug paglaum. ✨
