The Kapitbahayan Church of Christ (Romans 16:16) is a group of Christians who strive to go by God’s inspired word (2 Timothy 3:16-17; Romans 1:16) We believe that the New Testament is the standard of authority for our faith and practice.

Our Story

Here at Kapitbahayan, we go by the Bible. The apostle Peter commanded, “If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God;” (1 Peter 4:11). We take those words very seriously.

Our intent is to speak where the Bible speaks and be silent where the Bible is silent in all matters of faith and practice. This means that at Kapitbahayan you will find people who care about what God says and who seek to live according to His will.

Our efforts focused on growth and edification of the congregation and tried our best to fully equipped each member according to the Words of God. This goal is accomplished through three distinct avenues.

We make a sustained effort to preach the pure gospel of Christ to the lost (1 Timothy 3:15; 2 Timothy 4:2). We put forth a vigorous effort to teach and exhort our existing membership toward spiritual excellence (Ephesians 4:11-16). We care for each other’s physical needs as the occasion arises (Acts 11:29). The Kapitbahayan church is aggressive in each of these programs of work as each is necessary to the accomplishment of our unified goal.
