We, the JMMC, are truly grateful to offer our songs and our hearts at today's Mass, which marks the grand conclusion of the Easter season. In thanksgiving for being part of this celebration, we offer our deep commitment to serving God and His Church. Our songs are not just melodies, but a reflection of the word of God we heard today.

We learned today from the second reading that to be truly called Christian, we must live our lives with God and reflect His goodness, because a true Christian would never contradict the life and works of our Creator.

Saturday of the Seventh Week of Easter | Vigil of Pentecost

As we face another Saturday of the week, we excitedly sang the songs of the Mass. Not only are we witnessing the celebration of the Holy Eucharist, but also the Vigil of Pentecost, where we follow the example of the apostles who devoted themselves with one accord to prayer, together with Mary the mother of Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. We are very honored to be part of today’s celebration.

Isang maligayang kapistahan sa pagdiriwang ng Dakilang Kapistahan ng Pag-akyat sa Langit ng Panginoon!

Lubos kaming nagpapasalamat sa oportunidad na maialay ang mga kantang aming inawit mula sa puso, at mapakinggan at maisapuso ang mga aral mula sa Salita at likha ng Diyos. Kami ay nalulugod na naging bahagi at nakapag-alay ng mga magagandang awitin sa mga misang aming napagserbisyohan, mula sa pagpapakasakit, pagkabuhay, hanggang sa pag-akyat ni Hesus sa langit.

Isa na namang maligayang linggo ng pagseserbisyo mula sa JMMC! Maligayang Dakilang Kapistahan ng Pag-akyat sa Langit ng Panginoon sa ating lahat!

May 16 | Anticipated Mass

As we serve today’s anticipated Mass, we are grateful for the patience to learn our songs and understand the Word of God. May we always have the patience to understand not only the teachings of our choir master, but also the life and work of the Lord.

In today’s Gospel (Matthew 28:16–20), we learn about Jesus’ final instruction: commanding his disciples to evangelize all nations, giving them the authority to baptize in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. He also instructs them to obey everything he commanded, assuring them that he will always be with them.
