"David said to the Philistine, You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the Lord Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.'" (1 Samuel 17:45)

We all face giants in life. Whether it is stress, doubt, temptation, or hard times, these problems can feel way too big for us to handle on our own.

But just like David, the Naval Branch Youth know that we do not have to fight these battles alone. Our activity reminded us that when we walk with the Lord, no giant is too big to defeat. Armed with faith, prayer, and the things we learn in Seminary, we can face any challenge with courage.

With God on our side, we are brave, we are strong, and we will conquer our giants! 💪✨

Good vibes, great company, and the best spirit! Yesterday, our Naval Branch Youth proved that the FSY spark is still going strong. We kicked off our Seminary goals and spent some much-needed quality time together.

The future is bright with these amazing youth leading the way!

𝐇𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲 𝐁𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭!

On behalf of the Naval Branch Youth, we want to wish our Branch President a very happy and blessed birthday! We are so grateful for the dedicated leadership and the Christlike love you consistently show to each of us. Your commitment to serving the Lord and your genuine care for the youth of this branch serve as a constant inspiration, helping us stay focused on the covenant path. We hope your day is filled with the same joy and peace that you bring into our lives through your service.

As you celebrate another year, we are reminded of the words in 𝗠𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗮𝗵 𝟮:𝟭𝟳: "And behold, I tell you these things that ye may learn wisdom; that ye may learn that when ye are in the service of your fellow beings ye are only in the service of your God." As the Israelites stood before the Red Sea, they felt trapped. Yet through the faith of Moses, the Lord made a way where there seemed to be none. The sea was parted, and what once felt impossible became their path to deliverance.

In our own lives, we may face moments that feel just as overwhelming—problems that seem too big, situations we cannot control, and paths that are unclear. But just as the Lord fought for the Israelites, He will also make a way for us.

Naval youth at the Cebu Philippines Temple for the Biliran District Youth Temple Trip. 🤍 Grateful for the chance to look to God and live through sacred ordinances, no matter the distance.

As what President Dallin H. Oaks said on the recent 196th General Conference:
The Lord has promised, "Unto him that receiveth I will give more." As we treasure up and act upon the teachings of this conference, the Lord will continue to teach and inspire us with personal revelation and guidance. I promise this to each of us as we follow the directions of the servants of the Lord and "look to God and live."

When we prioritize our temple covenants, we are "treasuring up" the Lord’s promises by putting our faith into intentional action. President Oaks’ message teaches us that the temple is a place of continuous spiritual growth; as we honor our sacred ordinances, the Lord fulfills His promise to give us "more" through increased personal revelation and strength. By looking to God within His holy house, we open our hearts to receive the specific guidance and inspiration needed to navigate our daily lives with confidence and peace.
