‎📅 June 6–7, 2025

‎In preparation for the upcoming P1 Camp 2025, the Lucsoon Zephaniah Youth gathered for a meaningful 2-day spiritual retreat with the theme: “Ignite and Let It Shine.” The goal was to revive our spiritual fire, build deeper friendships, and prepare our hearts and minds to serve Christ faithfully.
‎
‎The program started with an introduction with a twist, fun, and interactive to break the ice and welcome everyone. This was followed by a heartfelt devotional, which challenged us to reflect on our personal relationship with God.
‎
‎The afternoon continued with fun and engaging Bible-related games and relays including Bible role-playing, message relay, Bible verse hunting, and creative storytelling. Each activity was designed not only to entertain but to help the youth explore God's Word in dynamic ways.
‎
‎After dinner, we gathered around the bonfire for our evening devotional. One of the most powerful moments was when each youth wrote down their personal commitments, prayer requests, and burdens on pieces of paper. We then surrendered them to God by burning the papers in the fire, symbolizing our desire to be renewed and set ablaze for Christ.
‎
‎Our second day started early with marching and drilling exercises, led by Ms. Melisa Abad as part of our preparation for P1 Camp. This was not only for discipline and coordination but also to instill a deeper sense of unity, teamwork, and spiritual readiness among the youth.
‎
‎We thank the Lord for the success and safety of our Youth Retreat. Our hearts are full, inspired, challenged, and ignited to shine for Christ in our homes, church, and community.
‎
‎A big thank you to all the sponsors, prayers, volunteers, and church leaders who supported this retreat in every way. This wouldn’t have been possible without you!

‎Youth Retreat Preparation Update‼️
‎
‎Earlier today, the Zephaniah Youth, together with dedicated members of the Lucsoon Seventh-day Adventist Church, came together in unity and joyful service to prepare the venue for the upcoming Youth Retreat.
‎
‎The day was filled with energy and cooperation as everyone took part in different tasks —clearing the area, cleaning surroundings, setting up tent, and gathering firewood for cooking and bonfire.
‎
‎Despite the heat and physical labor, hearts were light and spirits high, knowing that this preparation is part of something greater, an opportunity for spiritual renewal, friendship, and outreach among the youth.
‎
‎We thank all who gave their time, strength, and willing hearts. Your help made a big difference, and may the Lord bless you abundantly for your dedication. Together, we move forward in faith and service.

The Zephaniah Youth of Lucsoon SDA Church is organizing a spirit-filled Youth Retreat on June 5–6, 2025, starting Thursday at 1:00 PM at Sitio Alang-Alang, Lucsoon, Naval, Biliran.

With the theme: “Ignite and Let It Shine”, this event is a perfect opportunity for spiritual growth, friendship and bonding, fun games and activities, and campfire vespers!

In light of this, we warmly invite you to come and experience God’s presence, ignite your faith, and shine His light wherever you go.

‎𝗟𝘂𝗰𝘀𝗼𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗗𝗔 𝗖𝗵𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝗱𝘀 𝗙𝗮𝗿𝗲𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝘀: "𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗱𝗯𝘆𝗲, 𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝗚𝗼 𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗚𝗼𝗱"

‎The Lucsoon Seventh-day Adventist Church held a heartfelt farewell program entitled "Not Goodbye, But Go With God" to honor and send off theology externs Bro. Jadsmon Caraballe and El Bayer, who faithfully served the church for two months.
‎
‎With the uplifting theme taken from Deuteronomy 31:6 “Be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God goes with you”, the event was filled with messages of gratitude, emotional reflections, and warm fellowship. Both externs took time to share their journey, experiences, and spiritual lessons learned while working with the church and its members.
‎
‎Following their messages, church members then responded with touching messages and tributes, expressing how the presence of the externs inspired and strengthened their faith. Many recalled Bible studies, and outreach efforts led by Bro. Jadsmon and El, leaving a lasting spiritual impact on the congregation.
‎
‎The program concluded with tokens of appreciation and a message of hope that although this chapter has closed, God's plan continues to unfold. As one member said, “Dili ni panamilit kundi usa ka panaw nga magpadayon uban sa Ginoo.”
‎
‎Thank you, Bro. Jadsmon and El. Your service will always be remembered. Indeed, this is not goodbye, but go with God.

‎Last May 17, the Zephyrs Pathfinder Club of Lucsoon SDA Church participated in the district-wide 𝘼𝙙𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚𝙧, 𝙋𝙖𝙩𝙝𝙛𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙧, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙈𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙜𝙪𝙞𝙙𝙚 𝙄𝙣𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝘾𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙣𝙮 held at Anislagan SDA Church. The event gathered clubs from various churches in the Naval district that emphasized dedication, service, and spiritual growth. A total of 13 children from Lucsoon were officially inducted as Pathfinders, marking an important milestone in their journey of faith and service.

‎After the solemn ceremony on Saturday evening, the participants enjoyed a vibrant social Night filled with fun games, music, and group activities. This fellowship allowed the Pathfinders and Adventurers to bond with one another, build friendships, and strengthen their connection as members of God’s family.
‎
‎The weekend concluded with a Sunday morning session. focused on discipline and skills. Participants underwent basic drills, marching exercises, and command training, a core aspects of Pathfinder development. The entire event was a success, not only in nurturing the spiritual growth of the inductees but also in developing their leadership, teamwork, and dedication to service.

In a heartfelt gathering that combined fellowship, self-discovery, and spiritual growth, the Lucsoon SDA Youth came together on the evening of April 12, 2025, for a special church bonding event held at the Lucsoon Seventh-day Adventist Church.

The evening began with a shared dinner, where youth members enjoyed meaningful conversations and warm laughter, strengthening their friendships and unity as one church family.

Following the meal, the group engaged in an activity centered on self-appreciation. Each individual was encouraged to recognize their God-given worth, talents, and uniqueness. The activity aimed to uplift and affirm each youth, reinforcing the biblical truth found in Psalm 139:14:
“I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Your works are wonderful, I know that full well.”

Additionally, the youth took part in a temperament test, an introspective activity designed to help youth gain deeper understanding of their personalities. Through this, they not only learned more about themselves but also how to relate better with others. This knowledge promotes empathy, patience, and stronger Christian fellowship.

The event reminded everyone that each person is a unique creation, loved and valued by God. As 1 Corinthians 3:16 reminds us:
“Do you not know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in you?”

Youth leader shared that the goal of the activity was to nurture not just fellowship among the members, but also to inspire each one to grow in faith, love, and self-worth.

The Lucsoon Seventh-day Adventist brethren actively participated in the Harvest Celebration 2025 held at Naval Gymnasium, Naval, Biliran. The event was a joyful gathering of faith, thanksgiving, and unity.

Along with various churches from different districts, the Lucsoon brethren joined in songs of praise, worship, and testimonies, all expressing gratitude for God's abundant blessings throughout the year.

The celebration served as a reminder of the power of collective worship and the enduring mission to glorify God through faith and service.

Day 6 — The Beginning of a New Life!

Tonight, we concluded our Happy Family & Moral Recovery Program with a powerful call to surrender.

We were reminded that true life begins when we give everything to God — our plans, our struggles, our hearts.

Baptism is not the end — it’s the beginning of a new journey with Jesus. A life renewed, restored, and fully surrendered.

The program may be done, but the invitation to follow Jesus continues.

Day 5 — It’s Not Too Late to Change!

Tonight’s message reminded us that change is still possible, and now is the best time to start.

We were challenged to live a healthier lifestyle, not just for ourselves, but because our body is the temple of God.

Change isn’t easy — but with God, it’s always possible. And the good news? There’s still time to change.

Let’s choose to honor God not just in spirit, but in how we live, eat, rest, and take care of ourselves.

What a blessing to be reminded of the Sabbath — God’s holy day of rest!

Tonight, we reflected on how the Sabbath was created, blessed, and sanctified by God Himself — a beautiful sign of His love and desire for time with us.

Thank you, Bro. Jadsmon Caraballe, for leading us back to the heart of worship and helping us see the Sabbath as a delight!
