OBEDIENCE: TRUSTING GOD EVEN WHEN WE DON’T UNDERSTAND
In the Bible, obedience is not always about understanding everything God asks us to do. It is about trusting the One who asks.
Noah obeyed God by building the ark even when the coming flood seemed impossible. Abraham obeyed when God called him to leave his homeland without knowing where he was going. Mary surrendered to God’s plan, saying, “Let it be to me according to your word.”
Their obedience was an expression of faith. They did not have all the answers, but they trusted God.
Sometimes God asks us to take a step when we cannot see the whole path. We may feel unsure, afraid, or unprepared—but obedience begins when we say, “Lord, I may not understand, but I trust You.”
Obedience may not always be easy, but it always begins with faith.
