Weโ€™ve all heard Matthew 28:19โ€“20. Itโ€™s the greatest commission. But sometimes, what is sacred can become familiar, and what is familiar can lose its impact.

Before the command was given, verse 18 says: โ€œJesus came and told His disciples, โ€œI have been given all authority in heaven and on earth."
This is powerful.

It reminds us that the weight of the mission depends on who "Jesus" is - with all authority in heaven and on earthโ€”and who we areโ€”His disciples.

So the question is not just, โ€œDo we know the Great Commission?โ€
The real question is: Are we truly considering ourselves as "disciples" of Christ?

Because this command was not given to the crowd.
It was given to those who follow Him, trust Him, and live under His authority.

Today, letโ€™s not just hear it againโ€”letโ€™s respond to it. Not as something familiar, but as a personal calling from Jesus to us, His "disciples".
