“Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised!” — Psalm 145:3

We thank God for another fruitful quarter at Christian Gospel Baptist Church of Naujan!

This quarter, we celebrated our 5th Church Anniversary with the theme “Multiplication Through Discipleship,” and rejoiced as 7 new believers publicly followed the Lord in baptism.

God also opened new opportunities to reach our community through the Bible Basketball League, where 8 young people will begin regular Bible studies. Along with this, our evangelism, discipleship, and children’s outreaches continued to share the Gospel with families throughout our communities.

We also praise God for students who graduated from Senior High School, college, and Bible School, for Sis. Mary Rose’s success in passing her board examination, and for new ministry workers who answered God’s call to serve. Despite some health challenges within our church family, we experienced God’s healing and sustaining grace.

Through our sermon series on Christlikeness, Spiritual Warfare, and Building the Body of Christ, the Lord continued to strengthen and equip our church.

Thank you to everyone who has prayed, served, and partnered with us. We look forward to what God will continue to do in the months ahead.

Bible Basketball League Season 1

For the past five years, CGBC Naujan has not had a strong and consistent sports ministry due to the lack of proper facilities.

We thank God that in 2026, the Bible Basketball League was officially launched. Its primary goal is to build meaningful connections with young people, providing opportunities for them to know God and helping steer them away from the negative influences of the world.

On June 21, 2026, the Championship Game for the first season of the Bible Basketball League was held. The Yellow Path Finders emerged as Champions, followed by the Blue Torch Bearers in 1st Runner-Up, the Violet Light Bearers in 2nd Runner-Up, and the Red Truth Seekers in 3rd Runner-Up.

The spectators truly enjoyed the exciting and competitive games displayed by each team. The championship match between the Yellow Path Finders and the Blue Torch Bearers was especially thrilling, ending with a remarkable score of 129–128.

CGBC Naujan is committed to continuing the Bible Basketball League in the years ahead. We believe that through ministries like this, many young people can be reached with the Gospel, come to know Christ, and experience the transforming power of God in their lives.

On June 7, 2026, Christian Gospel Baptist Church of Naujan celebrated its 5th Church Anniversary. Over the past five years, we have had countless reasons to give thanks and rejoice as God has faithfully saved souls and continued to expand His Kingdom through the ministry of this church.

The theme of this year’s anniversary was “Multiplication Through Discipleship.” We thank God for Pastor Ariel Abadiano, who served as our guest speaker and challenged the church to pursue the goal of reaching souls and making disciples up to the third generation within our lifetime. He reminded us that it is the responsibility of the pastor to equip and train every member to go forth and fulfill the Great Commission.

The celebration became even more meaningful as seven precious souls trusted Christ as their Savior and publicly followed Him in believer’s baptism as an act of obedience to the Lord.

The day concluded with joyful team-building activities and a swimming fellowship that strengthened the unity, fellowship, and bond among the members of the church.

As we reflect on God’s faithfulness throughout these five years, we give Him all the glory, honor, and praise. May He continue to use CGBC Naujan to reach more souls and make more disciples for His glory.

We praise the Lord for all that He has accomplished in the 1st quarter of 2026 at CGBC Naujan. From new ministries like our Campus Ministry, and faithful evangelism and discipleship—to fellowships, baptisms, and lives changed by the Gospel—truly, God has been at work.

We thank Him for souls saved, believers growing, new laborers added, prayers answered, and even in trials, His sustaining grace. We also rejoice in His blessings, including the gift of new life and His continued provision for the church.

May His Name be made known as we continue to bring them in, build them up, and send them out—all for His glory alone.

As January 2026 comes to a close, CGBC Naujan gives thanks to God for all His faithfulness throughout the month.

Today, Pastor Jake concluded the preaching series on our 2026 church theme, reminding us that our strength to obey and fulfill the mission does not come from ourselves, but from the power of the Holy Spirit.

We also praise God for the launch of our Cradle Roll Ministry, where children from Grade 3 and below are now guided separately during the preaching time.

Today was also Commissioning Sunday for Pastor Jake, as he was officially set apart for full-time ministry and recognized as one of the full-time workers of CGBC Naujan.

The day ended with a joyful fellowship of our Outreach Kids from different barangays of Naujan—intentionally nurturing the next generation of believers and strengthening their fellowship at a young age.

Prayer Request:
Please pray for our Cradle Roll Ministry as we ask the Lord to provide children’s chairs, tables, and mats for a more organized and comfortable gathering.

All glory and thanksgiving belong to God alone! 🙌
