PPCRV’s 2025 National and National Elections report is based on primary source data sourced from Transmitted Votes to our Transparency Server, Election Returns from Automated Counting Machines/ Precincts Nationwide, Reports from our PPCRV Coordinators and Precinct Pollwatcher Volunteers. With 350,000 volunteers in precincts nationwide, we have “boots on the ground” who directly witnessed the elections on a wide and in depth scale. Read of their written accounts and also of the results of PPCRV’s Unofficial Parallel count which audited over 61K elections returns…the biggest audit of the 2025 Philippine elections.

CONGRATULATIONS, CARDINAL TAGLE ON YOUR NEW MISSION

On Saturday, Pope Leo XIV appointed Cardinal Luis Antonio Tagle as the new titular of Albano, a suburbicarian diocese he previously served before becoming pope. Tagle, currently pro-prefect of the Dicastery for Evangelization, succeeds Pope Leo (formerly Cardinal Robert Prevost), who held the title since February 2025. Albano, located near Rome, is one of the seven suburbicarian sees associated with the highest-ranking cardinal bishops. Previously, Tagle was the cardinal priest of San Felice da Cantalice in Centocelle and was elevated to cardinal bishop in 2022, maintaining his connection to the same titular church.
