When our struggles, worries, and problems become too much, they can slowly gain authority over our lives. Whether your pride is high or low, it can still be self-centered because the focus is still on ourself and not God. Mark 5:1–20 reminds us that Jesus has greater authority than anything that tries to control us. Instead of letting God lead us, we allow our emotions and circumstances to control us. Instead of asking, “What do I want?” we should ask, “What does God want for me?” True surrender means putting God above our struggles, pride, and ourselves.

Todays Preaching

Mark 4:35-41

We find peace not because we are free from trials or problems in life, but because Christ is with us through those trials. Following Jesus does not promise a life without storms. But it promises something even greater, His presence in the middle of every storm. Sometimes our circumstances may look out of control, but God is never out of control.

Today's message reminded us that we are God's ambassadors. Just as the angel of the Lord spoke with God's authority, we are called to reflect His character through the way we live. May our actions reflects God’s holiness, so that others may see Christ in us and be drawn closer to Him.
