What if the real test of your faith is how you respond when you’re hurt? 🤔

Last Sunday, we learned that being magnanimous means having a great soul, a heart that chooses blessing over retaliation.

“Don’t repay evil for evil… instead, pay them back with a blessing.” (1 Peter 3:9)

When people throw stones, we respond with tinapay.
When we’re treated with evil, we answer with goodness.

This is not about ignoring injustice,
it’s about refusing to let it make your soul smaller.

✔ Small souls cling to revenge
✔ Great souls live for eternal reward

A magnanimous life is marked by:
• Unity and compassion (1 Peter 3:8)
• Humility and tenderness
• Trusting God to be the righteous judge

Let Christ fill you so deeply that when pressure comes,
blessing overflows, not bitterness.

“Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.” (Romans 12:21)

From Barabbas to Builders ✨

Yesterday’s Sunday service reminded us of a powerful truth: we were once like Barabbas—guilty, undeserving, yet released by grace because Jesus took our place. But grace is not the end of the story… it’s the beginning of a calling.

“Released by grace, raised to rebuild.” 🙌

In Nehemiah 2:17–20 and 2 Corinthians 5:17–20, we are challenged not just to receive grace, but to respond to it. If we’ve been set free, will we rise and rebuild what is broken?

🔑 ENABLER:
E – Embrace your new identity (2 Cor 5:17)
N – Notice what is broken (Neh 2:17)
A – Approach God first in prayer (Neh 1:4)
B – Build with the people, not above them
L – Lead through opposition (Neh 2:19–20)
E – Engage your assignment, don’t come down
R – Restore what has been ruined
