Text: Ephesians 4:11-16

When Jesus says, "My Church," He is not referring to a physical building, a specific denomination, or any human-made institution. He is referring to all believersโ€”๐ญ๐ก๐จ๐ฌ๐ž ๐ฐ๐ก๐จ ๐š๐ซ๐ž ๐œ๐š๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ž๐ ๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐๐š๐ซ๐ค๐ง๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐ข๐ง๐ญ๐จ ๐‡๐ข๐ฌ ๐ฅ๐ข๐ ๐ก๐ญ.

Five important things we should know about the Church of Christ:

โœ… The church is built by Jesus, not by human efforts.

โœ… The gates of hell will not prevail (the church's resilience against evil)

โœ… Indestructible nature of the church (an assurance of the church's ultimate triumph)

โœ… Church is the people, not a place

โœ… The purpose of the church - be a conduit of light

The Lord Jesus desires the church to be ๐ก๐ž๐š๐ฅ๐ญ๐ก๐ฒ, ๐ ๐ซ๐จ๐ฐ๐ข๐ง๐ , ๐š๐ง๐ ๐Ÿ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐ฅ๐จ๐ฏ๐ž. We can do this by acknowledging and upholding the truth that the ๐‹๐จ๐ซ๐ ๐‰๐ž๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฌ ๐‚๐ก๐ซ๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ ๐ข๐ฌ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐‡๐ž๐š๐ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐‚๐ก๐ฎ๐ซ๐œ๐กโ€”He is the One who established itโ€”and the enemy will never prevail, for God is with us.
