Victorious Sunday ❗ Thank you Lord ❗
From the Sunday Word;
When Jesus Christ was about to be crucified, some of the Roman soldiers wove thorn branches into a crown (Matthew 27:27-31) This symbolizes his Kingship and placing thorns on his head symbolizes him wearing and bearing the curse of sin for humanity. Along with all the mockery, humiliation and suffering physically and emotionally, Jesus bore the crown with endurance and humility. He carried the crown with grace so that God's grace may abound through all humanity.
Every Christian also wears an invisible crown. This crown is the Crown of Responsibility given by God. Every crown has its own beauty, weight and purpose. When we feel like giving up, because the weight seems so heavy that we could not bear anymore, remember Jesus who endured it all.
Trust God's Sovereignty, Rely in his power and Yeild in the Holy Spirit. For "Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial because having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him" (James 1:12) If we perseveres, our crown of responsibility and suffering will be changed into a crown of life. Let us bear our crown with grace, for he who wears the crown, bears the crown.. Ptra. April Jean Sobrepeña Acosta
