This afternoon, the Ministry of Altar Servers reverently served during the Holy Hour, presided over by Rev. Msgr. Camilo P. Alia, H.P., as part of the Parish Vicariate Level Formators’ Training held at the Parish Center.

During the Holy Hour, the participants also prayed the Holy Rosary, offering their intentions for the Centennial Celebration of the Archdiocese of Cebu.

Earlier today, the officers of the Ministry of Altar Servers surprised our Spiritual Director, Rev. Msgr. Camilo P. Alia, H.P., with a simple birthday celebration following his first Holy Mass of the day.

It was a small token of our gratitude for his guidance, fatherly care, and faithful service to our ministry. May God continue to bless him with good health, strength, and many more years of fruitful priestly ministry.

Today, the Ministry of Altar Servers joyfully extends its heartfelt birthday greetings to our Spiritual Director, Rev. Msgr. Camilo P. Alia, H.P. We thank God for the gift of your life and for your faithful dedication to the Church. Your guidance, prayers, and fatherly care continue to inspire us to grow in faith and to serve the Lord with humility and devotion.

As you celebrate another year of God’s blessings, may He continue to grant you good health, wisdom, strength, and abundant graces. May the Blessed Virgin Mary and our patron, Saint Francis of Assisi, continually intercede for you as you faithfully carry out your priestly ministry.

After the Holy Mass people gathered for a Holy Hour before the Blessed Sacrament and the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Through moments of silent adoration, heartfelt prayer, and the grace of confession, they opened their hearts to God’s infinite love and mercy.

May this sacred encounter with Christ inspire us to continually seek His presence, embrace His forgiveness, and grow in faith each day. As we leave renewed in spirit, may we become faithful witnesses of His love and instruments of His peace.

Earlier today, the faithful gathered in joyful celebration of the Feast of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel through the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, presided over by Rev. Msgr. Camilo Alia.

Following the Eucharistic Celebration, a solemn procession in honor of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel took place, as the faithful walked together in prayer and devotion, entrusting their lives and intentions to the loving care of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Today, the Catholic Church celebrates the Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, the beloved Patroness of the Carmelite Order. But her motherly love extends to all who seek her intercession and strive to follow her Son, Jesus Christ.

The Brown Scapular is a reminder of Mary's loving protection and our call to live a life of faith, prayer, and devotion. May Our Lady of Mount Carmel continue to guide us closer to Christ and help us remain faithful in our Christian journey.

𝙀𝙭 𝙊𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙗𝙪𝙨 𝙙𝙞 𝙎𝙖𝙣 𝙁𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙘𝙤 𝙙 𝘼𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙨𝙞

Earlier today, the parishioners of the Archdiocesan Shrine and Parish of Saint Francis of Assisi welcomed the First-Class Relic of Saint Francis of Assisi from Rome.

The procession began at the presbytery and proceeded to the church’s main entrance. The Holy Mass was presided over by Rev. Fr. Benedicto John Sarchez Jr., V.F., together with the parish priests.

Following the Holy Mass, the veneration of the relic took place, as parishioners gathered in prayer and devotion to honor the First-Class Relic of Saint Francis of Assisi.
